Swap them for DC United who might as well not exist this season

I agree. It'd be nice if they did that. I'm just explaining why they haven't.

I'd be glad you can use them in FUT. If I still bothered in FUT, I'd be going after that Martinez card. Looks good.

I'm surprised they haven't been patched in for the start of MLS. Then again why would EA do something not half assed it's not like people can play another game

I know this has probably been discussed somewhere in this massive thread but is there a good set of sliders out there you use to improve some aspects of gameplay?

Can't get the video to upload from PSN for some reason, but I just scored from the top of my own 18-yard box with Valencia. (I decided to go back and rig my way into that job for 2017.)

The CPU sent up a goalie in a 2-1 game in stoppage time. One of my defenders controlled it and passed it out to a player on the outside. I held down the square button all the way and let it go... ball took a few huge bounces and rolled right into the middle of the net.

Is anyone else really terrible at these skill games? I also hate how they make you choose someone from your favorite team and not whoever you want

Speaking of skill games/training. Is it important to score as many points as you can in training... Beyond getting an 'A'? Is their a benefit?

It increases your skills for what ever you train for.

Another quick question for you FIFA 17 veterans: I will probably start a manager mode soon. Does it start it with the downloaded rosters so it reflects the latest transfers in January? Also with that, does it have current form on the ratings? I ask this because I wouldn't want to start one with say Swansea if there are in a shite run of form and even the good players like Gylfi have the form hit like they do when playing with the current rosters they have. Guess what I am looking for is current rosters but with some sort of default ratings to go along with them not based on real life current form

There's an option to "Download Latest" before you begin a career mode. It's either that, default (the ones when the game came out in September) or saved (any custom one).

Basically, you have to play with the default (pre-January) or the latest.

Ok thanks. And does the form of the player affect the overall rating? As in say Gylfi is showing as an 80 with the down arrow for bad form right now. Does that mean he is always an 80 but in bad form or does it adjust it to where he really is an 82 and is playing like an 80?

Go to sofifa.com and search for him. Whatever his overall and potential is there, that's what it will be in the career. I can't remember how live form affects career ratings.

Uh, FIFA puts out roster updates every week. They're constantly updating stats for all of the players. It'll default to the opening day rosters, but you can choose to download the latest. That'll have the updated roster and form for each player. The "live form" isn't tied to the actual roster changes.

Here's the link to the 3/27 update for the Swans: LINK

Glyfi is currently rated 82, with a 83 potential. If you click on his player card, and then change log, you can see the changes made to him. They upgraded his crossing and long passing earlier in March.

Awesome guys thanks for taking the time. This answers my questions and concerns. Didn't want the "live form" to affect the roster I started a manager mode with.

How hard would it be for code writers to make Athletic Club adhere to a Basque only policy. Honestly, it really ruins a Spanish career in some ways.

I'd be fine if the CPU only signed Spanish players since it only recognizes nationality. But when they sign like some dude from Portugal, it always throws me off.
