Dorin Rotariu is cheap, his overall is around a 70 but he is quick and fun to play with. I don't know what his potential is, though.

No emotion here. Simply legit question about FUT play.
I've been play Fifa for a couple of years and have gotten Fifa'd before weird luck etc.
but I feel like this version is stranger.
Pinnacle: just played a game. Dominated shots, and possession whole game 60/40 poss 10/4 SOT.
Had two terrible no calls that resulted in counters. One was a take down in the box.
Then I broke free TWICE and when I made last pass INTO 1v1...play was blown dead bc his attacker was hurt. again twice in one game.
Is there some madden eque shite going on? Soccer equivalent of madden scheming?

After logging some hours it pretty clear this years FIFA is much harder than before. The new game engine will take some getting used to but they have made this game a lot harder. World Class feels like playing on legendary sometimes.
Passing in the game is no joke. If you don't put the perfect touch on the ball when you hit the pass button its either going to be way short and the computer will jump on it or its flying past who you are trying to link up with.
The cpu defending is insane. I know they said they were going to improve the defending AI in this years game but holle shite. Like Mr P said blocked shots everywhere. The computer defends so good as a unit its crazy. They jump passing lanes and keep shape so good its frustrating. Breaking down the computer around their 18 you can almost forget about it. Long gone are the days of just blowing by players when dribbling at them. They tackle on the spot or the support defender closes that open space you have so fast.

It is impossible for me to score just through possession and moving the ball. It has to be a counter like every single time.

Same ive gone something like 6 games with out a goal in my FCK manager mode

Stuttgart is so much better than every other team in the second division. Its like the game will do what ever to have them go straight back up. They pressed me like it was a Klopp or Poch team on crack. Every time i got the ball it was gone. I don't know how i only lost 2-0.

I'm not having too much trouble generating chances with Aston Villa (having Ayew and McSwagmack will do that for you), but I give up the weirdest goals with this team.

This is how I feel continuously while playing this year's game... I admittedly bumped it down to professional to get some confidence back. Now I'm back up and getting dominated again. I'm not great by any means, but I've played every FIFA since like '03 and this is the worst I've ever played.

I messed around with the sliders a bit, but did some custom ones. I increased the injury frequency to 75 and decreased the severity to 20. In five games I've had two people leave injured and miss like three-four days.
Also downed the computer's passing accuracy and their first touch. There were games where I'd spend literally 2-3 minutes just trying to get the ball back.

I'm either drawing 0-0 or squeaking by 1-0 with a win off of me stealing the ball with Sterling or Fernandinho and immediately finding KDB to through to Aguero.
I've probably played 12-15 games in MM and by far the toughest team I've played is Spurs. I beat United 2-0 somehow, it was actually somewhat easy and they didn't even start Pogba lol. I played Spurs and literally was defending the entire match. Literally every time I got possession, they would press me as soon as I got the ball and I'd either make a pass right to a defender or get it stolen. It was horrible.
