1) Only sign 2 YA players per year

2) Don't sign free agents

3) Only sign 1 player on a pre-contract every 2 years, and even then it must pass my "realism" test.

4)At the start of every season the first thing I do is re-sign players I intend to keep, this nerfs the starting transfer budget somewhat.

5) try to use realistic wage restrictions (example, no players at over 80k a week when I was at crystal palace

6) Leave your top 4 players open to be transferred (meaning you don't transfer list them but you don't mark them as not for transfer either), if a bigger club than yours comes in with an offer to buy you have to accept (limit this to one player per window

I pretty much do all this as well. I have a general realism test that I do with all mine because I love doing career modes with mid table EPL clubs like Stoke and West Ham. I never sign an international type star even if I can afford them as well.

I pulled Nasri to QPR in the Championship. It takes a lot of self-control not to bench him indefinitely out of spite.

I like to start with a decent team in the Championship on World Class or Legendary (with the CPU passing turned down because I shouldn't have to use High Pressure tactics just to get 45% possession against these clubs). One year I took Charlton Athletic from League 2 to the Premier League while playing every match. Another I got sacked from United within a few matches. Always fun.

started a FUT. Altintop was the gold level player they gave me. Seems like it'll be pretty fun but I have a ways to go to get a decent team.

For those of you that FUT, do you play single player on online mode?

I love when you're scouting, and you see some dude with a flag you've never seen before. Happened twice today.

Online. You could play a couple of single player games until you have enough coins to buy a full gold team to use online, though

I usually play a couple here and there to get coins early, but mostly I play online only.

So in my 3 season with Peterborough in the top flight 5th season overall as the manager.

Finished fourth last year ad the champions league and a rash of injuries had me using tons of my youth players.

My golden gem youth player who led the league in goals as a winger, went all Sterling on me after I just gave him a new contract. He would not even talk for a new deal and forced a move the day before the window closed. My board didn't even let me review the 13 million pound offer which I was going to turn down and then see if I could hold on to him. He kind of fricked me up but I made some serious moves in the transfer window.

Brought in Basti to finally have a top level player. Even at 35 he still holds in down.

Bought Coman for a million pounds, even before I sold my youth players. He was only at a 69 when I got him from Juve for some reason. But hes up to 72 just after 3 months. He is a beast.

Also got Gnarby for a reasonable price then got Holberg from Bayern to be Basti's heir.

Nacho is on a fricking tear leading the EPL in goals with 12 and its only November.

I have 5 youth players who are always getting time now.

Ive switch from running the 4-3-3 with an advanced #10 to a 4-5-1 with a #10 role bc it suits my personnel better.

Nacho

Odegard/Hyndman

gnabry trap Basti Coman

Garza Miazga EPB Lichaj

Is my main starting 11

Do you guys remember the games when you had to start your managerial career at a low-level team and work your way up? I remember a long save on FIFA 2005 that started at Swiss Axpo Super League side Grasshopper.

Decided to go with Palermo instead of Genoa.

Obviously they sold Dybala to Juve...and now I just sold 79 overall Franco Vazquez to Southampton for a cool 17.5 million. tRebuild has begun.
