shite has hit the fan for me towards the January transfer window in my City MM.
Was undefeated on the year and leading the league by 12 points and I tied Arsenal and then lost to Villa, bournemouth, chelsea and then Bournemouth again in the FA cup.
Can't field a full team of fit players either that aren't like 60 overalls towards Christmas and New Year's.
United and Chelsea are now within six points.

I have a player on my Mallorca team, Gai Assulin.
He used to be in City's system (and Barcelona's) IRL

Nice. Here are a few clips I saved....I still need to figure out how the clip saving feature works on the system. I hada a few that I thought I captured but missed them.
One of my CBs making Swansea look stupid in the FA Cup
Part of my Community Shield upset over Chelsea

I've never even saved a clip of FIFA, but on Xbox it saves all FK goals, bicycle kicks, rounding the keeper and long shots automatically

FC Kaiserslautern
Season 3 (2017-18)
- Sixth in Bundesliga
- DFB-Pokal: Winners (!)
The defense played lights out this season, as our boys gave up the third-fewest goals in the Bundesliga, behind top two clubs Bayern and Wolfsburg. The only problem was, once again, there were too many low-scoring draws.
On a positive note, though, Julian Green turned into a bonafide star in his second season with FCK. He had 13 goals and 10 assists in Bundesliga play, and he added a pair of goals in the 3-1 upset over Wolfsburg in the DFB-Pokal final.
(We defeated Bayern 2-1 in extra time in the semis thanks to a couple of really good counter attacks and a Tim Howard vs. Belgium-like performance from American Neuer himself, Adam Delgado.)
Club captain Alexander Ring requested a transfer out of nowhere, and although I tried everything I could, he was sold in the January window for around $5 million to Norwich City. He was quickly replaced for a few million dollars more by Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena. A couple of reserves were also sold, but I'm blanking on them at the moment.
So, after qualifying for Europa League and winning the Pokal, we had a decent amount of money to play with in the summer of 2018.
TRANSFERS IN
- ST Aron Johansson from Werder Bremen for $10 million and ST Melvyn Lorenzen (he has a finishing rating of 87 but plays for a terrible team)
- LM Leroy Sane from FC Schalke for $27 million (potential of 87, currently at an 81, and he wasn't starting at Schalke)
- CB Daley Blind from Manchester United for $9 million (I don't know how I got him for that cheap, he was toward the end of his contract, and I wanted someone strong on the ball to play in the middle of my back line)
- CM Emerson Hyndman from Fulham for $6 million and a bench player whose name escapes me (they were still in the Championship, could use some depth, and I guess I'm just trying to get as many Americans as possible)
- CB Gökhan Gül from VFL Bochum for $4 million (potential of 80, needed depth)
TRANSFERS OUT
- ST Moses Simon to Sunderland for $30 million (twice his market value, and I really didn't need him as much with Johannsson coming in)
- ST Melvyn Lorenzen to Werder Bremen (see above)
- CDM Patrick Ziegler to Hamburg for $3 million (didn't use him that much)
- A few high-potential youth academy products who were at positions of great depth for a few million combined
(I currently have less than $1 million in the bank.)
Here's the current team as we look forward to Europa. Three matches into the Bundesliga season, we have three wins... Johansson has five goals... and Sane has a goal and three assists.
*Once again, Rivaldo Coetzee is not on the database, so I replaced him with another South African CB. The stats are what Coetzee is now.
I've simmed a good bit on these first three seasons, but I'm going to try to play more in this one and try to push into a Champions League spot.
But I'm thinking about starting up another save file and trying something else in case I ever get bored with this one.
My thought is to take a team such as Ajax, PSV or one of the top Portugal clubs and try to make them into a legitimate contender for the Champions League.
Develop their ridiculous amount of high-potential players, sell some for huge fees to big clubs, and reinvest that money into great national players who are either toward the end of their careers at bigger clubs or are young stars on other teams in the same league. I think that would be a fun challenge with Ajax.
I'm leaning toward that, or maybe a French, Italian or Spanish save. Haven't done one of those yet.

That would be cool. I've been thinking myself about doing a CM somewhere like Netherlands, Portugal, or Belgium. I don't know how long it would hold my interest, though.

You'd probably run through the domestic league, but trying to hang with the big boys in the UCL would make it fun. At least with the Netherlands and Portugal you'd have at least one legitimate threat for your domestic league. Not sure about Belgium.

In Belgium I would probably go with Anderlecht or Standard Liege

I don't think mine does.

Was thinking of doing a Murica manager mode where I only play Americans. Should I move a MLS team to EPL or use the most American team in EPL (crystal palace with the colors, eagle, and cheerleaders)
Posted on 2/19/16 at 5:47 pm to oauron
Yeah, don't move a team. I always thought that looked silly.
Crystal Palace works. Or resurrect Fulhamerica.

Kind of a spinoff of what you're doing, I'm thinking of doing an MLS career where all of my players have to be from CONCACAF or CONMEBOL countries.

Yes. I had a friend who moved an Irish team to League 2 and got them to the BPL. I'm not a huge fan of it, though.

was on level 2. i had 16 points going into the 10th game. tied. 17 points.

Well I got canned by Dortmund after one year... I've got to get better at scoring goals
Posted on 2/20/16 at 11:27 am to Hoyt
One thing I find that helps in scoring is using a soft lob pass to an atracker in front of you right as they are entering the box, then one touch shoot it straight at the goal

How are the games, when you auto play? CPU asinine, or games go pretty much on form?
