Ive never payed attention to other soccer teams before... do Daniel Sturridge and Mario Balotelli not start often?

Sturridge and Balotelli did not start. Sturridge could play on Wednesday. I think barring my players getting red cards and missing PKs, I have a week 1 win wrapped up.
