Everton 26-27: Fighting for Europe and Respect

We have an incredibly crowded midfield
Hoping to get another loan for Grealish
We still have no right back, though I think we'll sign Wan Bisaka or somebody else, as having a CB playing out there was servicable but not ideal.
I expect us to make a strong push for Europe and not collapse as we did last year.

Appears, after 3 years of searching, we finally are bringing in a right back.
Canadian Johnston to become a blue after a £10mil payment to Celtic.
And, it appears we are selling our best player to the Saudis for £90mil.
Ilman Ndiaye, who brought crowds across the UK to their feet with his pace and take-ons, is out the door. We don't have Grealish back, yet, either.
We, talent-wise, are much worse off thus far vs last year, which is not a great picture for the passionate Evertonians in Liverpool at the moment.

We get Brendon Johnson from Crystal
They get Dwight McNeil from us
If both players play to the tops of the ability, Everton obv wins on that deal.
McNeil has no pace nor a right foot, but during our darkest moments, he was helping steer the ship from relegation. Weird he’s only 26. Feels like he’s been there for a decade.

Good start to the season, arguably should have walked with three points vs Bournemouth, but waking up today to see:
Tete-who didn't want to play for us last season, bought at £7mil
Ndiaye-being sold to SPURS for only £60mil
Richy-being bought, on the last year of his contract for £35mil
The older I get, the more that I realize that failing up and getting into leadership in the corporate or political world is the way to go.
