I haven't yet but it seems like it could be fun, maybe a little hard on the toes.

Thoughts?

Played on the beach and for some reason it hurt a lot. I was even using a "beach soccer" ball.

Played barefoot on regular soil one time. It wasn't bad until someone kicked it straight at my big toe and it bent back the nail and bled like a mother.

I usually hurt on the top of my foot the most. I suggest playing with a slightly deflated ball.

It'll teach you not to try and toe poke so much.

I'm with NOTORIOUSD, it kills the top of my foot.

Yeah, it hurts. Played on the beach this past summer and the tops of my feet were bruised just from juggling and passing.

Played barefoot a few times when the field was super muddy and everything was still wet. It was fun I guess. Kind of like that scene in The Longest Yard where all the cons play football in the mud.

Played barefoot in my friend's backyard one time and accidentally slid on my feet to try and take a shot and I ripped off a pretty substantial layer of skin off the ball off my foot. Hurt so fricking bad I could barely walk after that not to mention it looked gross as frick.

Yup, with the ball being plastic water bottles.

What can I say, growing up in Cameroon was rough

When we brought dozens of cleats to Mozambique, the kids got worse. Some began to adjust, others just took them off and continued barefoot.

Plenty of times. As long as I'm in grass, I'm fine. Wouldn't play on the beach without wrapping my feet.

In the event that you actually wanted to strike the ball with your toes, you can strike the ball with the ball of your foot/bottom of your toes, which is essentially the same thing.
