Forest wins 1-0 vs Villa

Some CL spot implications if Villa doesn't win

If Villa were to win and they qualify through the Europa league, and they finish in top 5 in the PL, the 6th place team gets a spot as well.

If Villa doesn't win then they'll HAVE to finish in top 5 obviously.

Brighton, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Brentford, Fulham, Everton, Sunderland are all at or 4 pts away from the 6th spot.

And I guess just to highlight how big a deal it is, Brighton is 8 pts behind Villa, so a pretty big deal if Aston Villa can get a win

Rayo Vallecano are everything wrong with European soccer. They're St. Pauli on steroids.

If they pull through they won't care about the league anymore, that's for sure

I don't know much about Freiburg. Who do you fancy, Villa or them?

Villa should smoke them. 7th in the Bundesliga with a -8 GD

But it's 1 game and strange things often happen in those settings

Two English teams will win European titles this season and Arsenal won't be one of them.
