without a doubt I'd say Bradley is our most important. Without him, our midfield looks like it has a case of the tourrettes. It kills our offense and then allows everyone to attack and wear down our defense all game.

IMO the order should be:

Bradley

Donovan
Dempsey

Altidore

Shea

Which would start at CB between Cameron, Dolo & Negra?

With how well cameron played in Azteca, I'd like to see him start paired with Bocanegra. If either falter, than put the experienced Dolo in. It's time to start seasoning our younger players that show promise.

I think that Dempsey gives us more of a goal threat than Bradley. That's why I give a slight nod there. Bradley is at best equally important to the team as Deuce.

Ummm The OX is more of a goal scoring threat than Song, but I wouldn't say he was more important on last years team..

I'm sorry, are we talking Arsenal or USMNT? Bradley is great, but the attacking is HORRIBLE when Deuce isn't present.

It's a comparison..

Just because Bradley doesn't score as many goals as dempsey doesn't make him less important.. It's not his role.

A very shitty one IMO.

If Bradley plays without Dempsey, the team is not as good IMO.

I disagree. I love Bradley, but Dempsey is more important.

Agreed. Dempsey is our main attacking catalyst.

I'm not disagreeing with you all saying he's more important, merely stating that saying one is more of a goal scoring threat than the other means one is more important is a flawed argument.

No it's not. Bradley can be amazing, but without a guy that has a nose for goal, it doesn't matter. Dempsey can find the ball without Bradley. Dempsey has something that is just unreal. He always finds the ball in front of goal. It's instinct that you can't teach.

ETA:So if I can't use one is more important because of goal scoring, what would you base the difference on? Goals>Passes

Bradley is a key cog for the USMNT, his possession and passing ability from the middle are awesome for us and very underappreciated imo.

In my analysis it's Landon Donovan.

No American player has had MORE piss-bombs thrown at him, so it's got to be him.
