Who is the most important non-keeper in USA's WC qualifying games

Take shea off and put Bradley in when making your pick.. (this is where ESPN sucks, I mean come on)

Altidore
Dempsey
Donovan
Bradley

I picked Dempsey, if he plays like the elite player that he can be then we go as he goes. just my opinion, I'd put Donovan and Bradley tied for 2nd

Michael Bradley. Easy answer for me.

Though I think Fab Johnson may be the most difficult player to replace. He's shown out literally every time he's donned the USA kit.

I'm going with a sleeper pick in Geoff Cameron. If he can play around the level he played against Mexico its going to do wonders for our back line.

ETA: my true answer is mb90 but I loved what I saw from Cameron in Mexico.

The Mexico match was the worst midfield performance I've ever seen from the USMNT. Bradley has to be the answer.

Exactly what I thought, which is yet more proof that ESPN blows at soccer.

I'd have it as

1) Bradley

2) Dempsey

3a) Donovan
3b) Cameron
3c) Altidore

I have Jozy in the 3rd tier due to having what I think to be a very competent backup in Boyd right behind him, and Cameron is up there because if he plays as well or better than he did yesterday a great centerback is way undervalued.. and Donovan if he gets motivated always comes up with those special runs.

I would say it would be Bradley and Dempsey as a 1a and 1b if you will. They both are equally important.

In-form Michael Bradley makes everything easier

Dempsey and Donovan both have the capability to carry us against many CONCACAF opponents

Would our best midfield 4 right now be Williams Bradley Donovan Dempsey??
I've never seen Williams play defensive mid but supposedly he's legit. With that midfield plus a D that includes Cameron, Johnson, Cherundolo, Lichaj??, etc I think we'd be pretty strong.

Jermaine Jones is still ahead of Danny Williams.

----------------Howard-------------------
Johnson---Cameron----Cherundolo----Lichaj
Donovan-----Bradley-----Dempsey-----Jones
---------------Altidore------------------

?

Which would start at CB between Cameron, Dolo & Negra?

I wonder where Holden will be health and form wise during qualifiers. I may cry if/when he makes his national team return.

I just asked him this on twitter. Who knows, he might reply.
