I know the Cup's not for another two years, but I have a hard time believing that Landy wouldn't start for us.
However, no Mo Edu makes me all happy inside.

Williams on the right is a big fricking no thanks.
I don't know much about Morales really, I wouldn't be against Williams playing as one of the central/holding midfielders though since that's his actual position.

Torres not even on the bench? Thought he's played exceptional in his last few matches.

fricking stupid. Williams is not a winger. This will never happen in the WC because Klinsy will eventually realize this fact. I'm saying it right now SB, and you can quote me, but if Williams starts on the wing and Donovan gets benched, I will literally suck my own dick.

Now what would you do if Beckerdreads somehow makes the team???

I REALLY doubt Gomez makes it.
He's this cycle's Brian Ching.
He's this cycle's Brian Ching.

I think that esteemed title may go to Wondo.

Ching actually contributed. He was our third leading scorer in qualifying in 2010.
Wondo hasn't contributed and won't.

The real question here is... would you remove ribs? or just chop it off?

So then Wondo must be Conor Casey?

I doubt Wondo will score a brace on the road in Honduras.
I think Wondo is this cycle's Chad Barrett. (As in - Chad Barrett played in a qualifier? Like, a real one? Really???)
USA 1 - Barbados 0
USA: 18-Brad Guzan; 6-Drew Moor, 15-Jay DeMerit, 2-Danny Califf, 11-Heath Pearce; 10-Sacha Kljestan, 12-Michael Bradley, 8-Danny Szetela (14-Chris Rolfe, 66), 7-Eddie Lewis (capt.); 16-Freddy Adu (13-Chad Barrett, 86), 17-DaMarcus Beasley (12-John Thorrington, 79)
Subs not used: 1-Chris Seitz, 3-Carlos Bocanegra, 5-Oguchi Onyewu, 9-Brek Shea

Wondo is scoring a goal a game this year in MLS.

I don't know why, but I find it hilarious that Eddie Lewis and Brek Shea played on the national team together.

He's no Kenny Cooper

Good to know.
Jeff Cunningham scored 134 goals in his MLS career. Do you remember all the awesome goals he scored for the national team?
Me either.
What's your point?

My point was simply that Wondolowski has proven that he can score in mls. I wonder what Barrett did to get called up?
I never argued that.
Barrett was in a decent run of form when he got called up. You could argue that he earned it. Barrett is two years younger than Wondolowski, and has scored roughly the same amount of MLS goals.
Either way, I think 5 years from now, Wondolowski's contributions to the national team will be about where Chad Barrett's are.

Well if he's getting 10 minutes per 3 games, I'd have to agree with you. Didn't help that we couldn't get the ball past midfield against canada in those 10 minutes.
Not that I see him earning more minutes. Gomez is clearly better.

So is OLASDM not really OLAS?
