Back when FoxSoccer was FoxSportsWorld, I enjoyed it much more. You could watch Mexican league, Argentinian League (River Plate games were always good), EPL, plus some Australian football and Rugby.

Now, it's either EPL or Serie A. At least they show MLS, which I enjoy

Well, you can call me bandwagon or whatever. I have no ties to Chelsea other than the first EPL game I watched featured them. They wore blue and white(same as UK) and had a cool african with a jehri curl. I didn't know if they sucked balls or were great. They didn't win the league that year and didn't until 2 years ago. My buddy was a LFC fan or I probably would have picked them bc of Torres. Now I have both.

Hell, I've only been a soccer fan for two years really. And if following the league I have the most access to is wrong...then IDK man. Whatever. The OP sounds like one of those guys who gets mad when "his band" becomes popular IMO.

I've only been watching the league for three weeks. I'm too much of a noob to be picking a "team.".Liverpool,Sunderland,Stoke,Chelsea, are at the top of who I could see myself rooting for.

Chelsea was in fact the first team a few years ago that got me interested in football. Success or not

Just to let you know what you're getting into... Not so sure I'd consider Stoke, they have had a few good years but it is worth bearing in mind that until 2 years ago they hadn't played in the top flight in something like 40 years and they're 1 lackluster season away from relegation. Sunderland seem to have stabilized under Quinn/Bruce but are traditionally have been considered a yoyo team (up and down).

The big difference between Liverpool and Chelsea is really tradition vs. new money although Liverpool are definitely on the up right now.

Aston Villa fan here so I'm gonna go ahead and brush off the bandwagon talk, can't imagine how it applies to me.

I've played soccer my entire life but have never had FSC and haven't ever really gotten into watching the sport. I've really enjoyed the past few weeks of the EPL and would love to throw my support behind a team. Help?

you might have already figured this out but the best way to find a team is to just watch a lot of different teams play and take your time. A lot of people just try and jump in and pick a team immediately but my advice is definitely to take your time.

Something to consider also would be that different teams have different ambitions and that might help you make your decision

title challengers: Man U, Citeh, Chelsea
Champions league ambitions: Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs
Sleeping Giants: Newcastle, Villa, Everton
mid-table: Fulham, Bolton, Sunderland
should be safe: Stoke, West Brom
Relegation battlers: Wolves, Wigan, Blackburn and the promoted teams

of course the above is my personal opinion, and it does change over the years (Blackburn is 1 of only 4 teams who have ever won the EPL!) but it is for the most part accurate. But like I said just watch as much as you can and eventually you'll find your team. And look on the bright side, Birmingham City was relegated last year so there are now no wrong decisions!

I'm okay with Sunderland then being up and down. that's life of being a Tampa Bay Rays fan.

Though, I'm not picking a team until a full season is done. I can't pick after three weeks of viewing.
