So, he's the MF equivalent of Welbeck?

I guess he's your new Raheem Sterling... Pick out the few bad touches, passes, shots and apply it to his entire game...

I admit he hasn't been his best this season, since returning from his heel injury... but he's proved in the past that he is a solid B2B MFer

Hes not good either. The only people who rate Hendo are Liverpool fans.

He's not proven at all. He had one decent season and is no where near the quality to be Liverpool's captain or in England starting XI.

He can't finish for shite and gives the ball to the other team way to much

He had two really good seasons, after being moved to CM... He's not world class and that's fine.. if Klopp brings in a someone better, great! If England have someone better.. well, I really don't care that much..

He was good enough to play in a starting 11 that just beat Germany (and have an assist on the winning goal)...

He's not a striker, so I can live with that... I guess he really is the MF version of Welbeck... he can't finish either!

He was in the starting XI bc Roy is hard headed

we both know Germany would roll them in a competitive match.

I actually like this England team... I think if Roy doesn't frick it up by insisting on playing Rooney.. they could possibly do well in the Euros..

He will frick it up and it has nothing to do with Wazza, who has been in good form with England.

This Germany isn't very good. England aren't either, but it wouldn't be a sure thing.

come on man, henderson missed an open pull back and gave the ball away at every opportunity. he's been pretty garbage for club as well this season. and don't forget, Welbeck no longer is a United player which we both know that's why you chose him as a comparison.

I said he hasn't been at his best this season... but he played fine today...

yes, thats why I chose Welbeck... I thought that was obvious.. but he gets a free pass from SCH unlike Raheem and Hendo... and he's not very good and a bit of a donkey..

Ozil was probably the worst midfielder out there tonight.

I'm not mad...

I just like to point out that every match that either Raheen Sterling or Jordan Henderson play in, we will have to read SCH proclaim how terrible they are... every shot, touch or pass.. they will be incapable of playing well..

Both players are far from terrible or even bad..

i don't think welbeck gets a pass. i think the proof is in the pudding. martial and rashford both younger and basically what we wanted welbeck to be all along. we were disappointed when he left because he's a local guy and gives everything for the team when he plays. he just has not been able to put the whole package together yet and may never be able to do it.

If Jackie Boy is healthy then he probably pushes Hendo out the starting XI

Maybe so... but thats a big IF...

Also, while not glamorous, Hendo does a lot of the dirty work that managers love... always a place for a guy like that in a team.. his tidy 88% pass completion wasn't bad either, for a guy that played terrible yesterday and gave the ball away so much..
