The people on the Bayern board are pretty nuts. They type in mostly broken English but a lot of them are a lot like the rantards.
Some guy just said that Bayern should buy Benedikt Howedes to be Daniel van Buyten's replacement, i.e. a backup. Howedes is Schalke's captain and only 24

I see this all the time and think its funnier every time I read. But it mostly happens on Facebook groups, more so than message boards (at least for Liverpool).

Which is ironic, because if you're posting on a message board from another country you're usually at least somewhat well versed in the team and the game in general. I find a lot of the times, on thisisanfield, the American's are the smartest and most level headed of the posters.

Does anyone actually know any decent English/British board for soccer? I tried a couple and they were all fricking awful. Forget tactics, I had to explain the basics of the transfer market to (apparently) grown men who feel qualified to comment. They have to be big, not TD.com big necessarily, but at least enough to have one representative of most Premier League teams.

The City boards are the same way regarding transfers. They will have 100+ page threads and will just kill or harass the people claiming to have inside information. They are very quick to call you out as a rag.
