I was in the stands for Howard's first cap - Birmingham 2002.

I have to do everything myself.
R: Tony Sanneh, Brian McBride, Cory Gibbs, Young Edward Johnson, Gooch, Kasey Keller
F: Ramiro Corrales (
), Mastroeni? Brian Carroll? (no clue... I don't think it's either one of those, honestly), Steve Ralston, Chris Albright, Landon Donovan
Great job on the outside backs there, Bruce. I can't figure out what kind of formation we played.
Three outside backs (Sanneh, Corrales, Albright)
Two strikers (McBride, Johnson)
Two center backs (Gooch, Gibbs)
One central midfielder (#25
)
Two wingers (Ralston, Donovan)
Some sort of 3-5-2/5-3-2?
My US DVD collection only goes back to 2005.
ETA: I looked it up, it IS Mastroeni. Wow, doesn't look anything like him.
Joe Cannon was the backup GK.
