After his non-celebratory brace today...

quote:

"I don't celebrate goals when I am feeling sad and that's the case today," said Ronaldo.

"The people who work here know why and I won't say any more than that."

Despite coming off with an injury, Ronaldo is optimistic he will be fit for Portugal's opening 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg and Azerbaijan.

He added: "Let's see in a few days if I recover because I want to play with the national team and they are important qualifiers for us.

Maybe he has all of his words backwards? I mean...he did say Azerbaijan and Luxembourg were "important games"

seriously though, did he have a transfer target in mind or something? why is he sad? such a different emotion from mad.

Just saw a rumor on Twitter that he's unhappy at Real.

Where else could he possibly want to go, back to Man U or maybe the other team in Manchester?

He was celebrating his goals as recently as Wednesday. I doubt that anything happened within the past few days to change his entire outlook at Real Madrid.

Bout time a spanish giant came back the other way, gunners!

We'd have the best looking team in the world with Giroud, Arteta & Ronaldo.

Should have decided that before the Transfer window shut. This is Ronaldo being a drama queen.

Every fan whose team is going to play Real is going to chant "Iniesta" for 90 minutes.

he's being absurd, first he says it's professional not personal, then he says it's not about iniesta and now it comes out that he was crying in the locker room for 20 minutes after the game?? i dont know any professional not personal problems that would drive someone to depression. especially a man who thinks as highly of himself as he does.

Well, if he does leave there are 5 clubs on earth (besides Barcelona) that could compete for him:

City
Chelsea
United
PSG
Anzhi

Seeing Ronaldo freezing his arse off in Chechnya would be one of the greatest things ever.

Plus it's hard to imagine he would go to City since they are rivals with United. So 4 teams that could compete for him?
