You think those same fans abroad would stop going to EPL and La Liga mathches if a team moved?
If their team moved
Um yea
I’d stop supporting United if they moved to let’s say Blackpool.

10+ years down the line when/if the league starts to become marketable abroad, people won't care about this.
That not true at all
Just take a look over on soccer Reddit
Go abroad and talk to people about American sports. The thing they hate is how teams can move cities.

What part of a decade from now did you not understand?

Most people in America hate that, but they still watch.

Lol you think a decade is going to change that

Bc there is nothing else to compete with the NFL, NBA or NHL
Not the same deal with soccer

Seems to have worked for MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon.

Why would top players come if they know the team can just up and move or they can be traded somewhere and have no say in it?
A different question but valid... I don't know the answer other than $$$ and no trade clauses...

If we build the league into something that's marketable? Yes. No one in 2030 is going to care about a change that happened in 2020. They masses aren't paying attention now and won't even know it happened.

MK Dons are not even supported in their town bc it’s full of London transplants. Often there are 5-7k away fans.
Wimbledon is doing great since it’s rebirth

Until another change happens 15 years from now bc an owner doesn’t want to pay for his own stadium.
You think that is going to stop happening

You're doing that thing again where you take a small problem with MLS and blow it up to be the worst thing ever.
No one abroad is really not watching MLS because San Jose moved to Houston once upon a time, nor will they do that if Columbus moves to Austin. Sure, some people are going to mention it on Reddit (wow), but that's not why people won't tune in.
If it's quality, people will watch, whether they're playing it in the same places they've always been or on transportable moon bases.
Also, it's not like relocation has hampered the NFL and NBA's growing popularity (more of the latter) worldwide, now has it?

It turns people off on the league which effects tv deals

MLS has a frick ton of competition and isn’t even the best league in the confederation

We need to work on that before caring if people across the globe are watching. If you build it, they will come.

There's quite a few leagues in Europe.

That’s a whole different discussion
Bc our way isn’t working in the grand scheme of things
