Lukaku has been pretty shitty this season despite a solid summer.

@IanDoyleSport

To be fair, the 10th-placed Premier League side has done well to keep in touch with the Serie A leaders here. Heroic effort from #MUFC

I thought we played fine. Lukaku and Rashford are pretty useless honestly.

I don't think he's in Turin after this season. Especially the longer this rape stuff goes on. They will sell him 2 a PSG type club, who could give 2 shits about a players rep, they are trying to buy titles as all costs.

Juventus fans were so loud, you would of thought they were playing in Turin.

You really think Juve is going to sell him after 1 season after spending 100 mil on his transfer fee?

You do realize they made a huge chunk of their money back in shirt sales, already.

You realize they only get a small portion of those shirt sales? While the shirt sales may surpass 100m, I'd wager Juventus got around 10%-15% of the receipts from those jersey sales, depending on the contract they signed with adidas. The only way they make back the money from the shirt sales alone is if adidas makes around 1 billion from selling Ronaldo's shirt. That won't happen for a couple of years. It's a licensing agreement, not a traditional sponsorship deal, hence why Juventus, and all clubs, get only a small percentage of those sales.

I could be wrong but I thought it was already confirmed, like several months ago that this happened, even with the small percentage Juventus gets.

You literally couldn’t get onto their store for like a month man. It was wild.

I've only seen numbers for total jersey sales, which have been around 100 mil. Juventus would get 10%-15% of that total. Those articles that said they paid back CR7's transfer fee always quoted the totals, hence why I'm skeptical of the claim that Juventus has made money back. They will, eventually, but their total cut is still much less than the transfer fee for Ronaldo.
