Nope, it's painfully clear your father was an idiot and went in skinny dipping. Shame on your mother, shame on her.

Please don't pretend like that's the only way to play against Barca.

What's the blueprint on defeating Barca? It's definitely NOT trying to open the game up. What happened to Arsenal with that style of play? They concede a lot of goals. Obviously both times they did better at home but they conceded a ton of goals. trying open play with Barca is NOT a good idea.

ETA: we played this way in 05 against them, because back then our offense was pretty good and we had fast guys. Obviously we dont have the personnel to try that type of shite anymore.

And Madrid. They've played Barca 5 times this year...and have won 0. PLAY THAT WAY!!!

They've played Barca closer than Chelsea did. All I'm saying is that playing deep and narrow isn't the only way to play with Barca, and I'm also saying that Chelsea didn't play particularly well playing that way. It was more a story of Barca missing chances than Chelsea preventing those chances from being created.

If Dani Alves isn't camped out in the final third so that Barcelona can pour ~7-8 men forward, we aren't even having this discussion

If that's the one instance all game where that occurred, then it shouldn't outweigh the unsportsmanlike way Drogba played. If you're going to call it, call it both ways. Drogba was embarrassing.

Are you sure? Chelsea just won the game if I'm not mistaken.

And by all means, please tell me how to beat Barca. I'm curious to know what you know that the rest of the world doesn't.

3-0 for Barca next week.
89% possession
17 flops from Drogba
Lampard with 12 shots, all from midfield

Yeah I was just pointing out the hilarity of it. Drogba was ridiculous today. He out Barca'd Barca. I thought that Barcelona stayed on their feet pretty well today. At least way more than usual. And no card whining either.

We must have watched different games. I saw a deep and narrow team that didn't know who or when to press, didn't know who to pick up on deep runs, and gave up five chances within 15 yards of goal.

If you're going to play deep and narrow, play it well. The blueprint is Inter 2010. Compare the amount of chances created that game against this one with Chelsea, and tell me what team played better. Five chances (Sanchez, Fab, Fab again, Sanchez again, then Rodriguez) isn't what I call effective defending because it depends on the finishing ability of the attackers, not the quality of the defense.

One-nil to the Blues! We stoke it at the nou camp and the finals are within our grasp. Not saying it will be easy by ANY means. When you beat Barca an element of luck and fortuitousness is always involed. We did what precious few have done that is bound to sting chelsea haters. Sorry, bro.

People hate Chelsea because they literally had no fans in the USA until Uncle Roman bought the team.

Does anyone have any doubt that Barca is going to win 3-0 at home?
