torres subbing for drogba is a bigger worry than having to sub a tired drogba for torres, imho
I would have guessed the opposite, have Torres run at 'em and tire them... then have Drogba come on and try to hammer them...
I guess we shall see how it works out...

Di Matteo looking to clog the center of the midfield. Chelsea will be very narrow trying to force barcelona out wide because they can't cross the ball. I don't see it working I just don't think Chelsea's midfield is good enough
2-1 barca
2-1 barca

Drogba will tire them with the hammering, Torres will come in and blow by them. Looks like this is the Italian's thinking.

no doubt, I just figured his old arse would be tired after Sunday. Either way, I dont see it paying off... Barca too good.

Is any midfield good enough against Barca?

I just don't think it makes sense to play 5 central midfielders and try to counter through long balls to drogba. They have no width and I just don't think being negative works against barca

Wow, if Drogba could have controlled that, that would have been some start.

That midfield looks like a Camino full of Mexicans.
So much clutter.
So much clutter.
