re: Chelsea 2017/2018 Season Thread
Morata just isn’t doing it for me. Chelsea should be able to have a striker that can score with his feet as well as his head. He flops nearly 70% of the time he has the ball. I miss costa.

Bumping my post on the preview page.^^

Anymore responses?

He needs to just start trying to chip the ball up to his head before shooting every time.

LOL while reading Drogba's IG posts from today. Main comment theme, "Please teach Morata how to score".

It's a really good signing for that money. He just turned 24. He might never amount to more than a fringe player, but it's well worth the relatively small investment IMO.

Now let's go get Mahrez and a striker.

Bakayoko, Drinkwater, and Barkley all signed while injured. Are we a football club or a hospital?

Steal at that price. We land Mahrez and a decent striker and we are going to have depth for the first time in years.

Also we should not agree to a permanent move for RLC. He has tons of potential and CP needs to keep their hands off.

It amazes me that any executive at our club can watch the team play without Hazard and think "This is fine. We've got plenty of creativity and quality in the final third."

We have to resign Hazard...losing him would be detrimental to the club. Even if we sell him for $200M+, I don't believe that the club will actually use the funds to find someone to replace him (nor do I think he is easily replaced).

We have to find another striker ASAP...Bats was miserable today. Willian showed a few sparks which was nice. Bak was piss poor as well.

I'd love to find someone better than Zappacosta at RB too...he just did nothing offensively for me.

Conte is definitely leaving at the end of the season unless something changes. That press conference today was something.

re: Chelsea 2017/2018 Season Thread
They asked him if he'd be around next year and he said he couldn't say because anything is possible, but the overall tone was super negative and gloomy. They also asked about Sanchez and he praised him for a while and said it's an absolute steal to get him at this price for much less than he's worth. Said he's always admired him and wanted him at Juve.

re: Chelsea 2017/2018 Season Thread
We aren't good. Morata and Hazard are both out of form, and we have no creativity or goals outside of those two. Bakayoko isn't there yet. The 3-5-2 doesn't work, and we keep playing it. Moses and Zappacosta are so uninspiring it hurts to watch.

I think Conte wants to get canned. We have a striker who is only good with crosses and we play with zero width. Pedro and/or Willian have to start playing more

I mean once again, why was this downvoted? Seems like the right take still

Why aren’t we going after Auba?! He would be a fantastic addition.

No Alexis
No Vidal
No Auba
No Mahrez

...but we can overpay for Carroll! Yessssssss
