Ampadu would look fine if he shaved the cheesestache and got a decent haircut.
I'm very disappointed that Giroud left, but I think a Chelsea team that is dedicated to making runs off of him as well as giving him service through the air will get the best out of him. Arsenal never crossed unless we were desperate, which negated Giroud's quality in the air. Also his ability to take down goal kicks is unbelievable. He can work in tight spaces, and when he posts up against the low block, he can usually receive the ball and turn. I can't think of a better target striker playing right now. The problem is that he will probably miss a bunch of easy chances. If he ever scored 5-10% more of the easy chances, he would have been a 50 million dollar striker.

Is that the little stoner kid with the dreads?

My gf thinks Cesar is hot. And likes hazards butt. Also Morata

We are such dogshit, how many games do we have to lose without a striker before we realize it's F'ing moronic to put Hazard up there? Being a fan of this club is so frustrating.
We went from a team of first class grown arse men and professionals like Terry, Drogba, Cech, Lampard, Essien, Makelele to a bunch of rot dick pussies who effortlessly float between brilliant and abominable as freely as a Channel wind. Frick FRIIIIIICCCCCCCCKKKK

Pretty bad. But I think morata getting pressed by giroud coming in later will help out a good bit. Giroud is by all definitions a super sub. He is absolutely fantastic at clutch goals.

IDK how to tell y'all this, but striking options are not are our main problem. We have one competent midfielder. Everybody else falls somewhere between horribad and incredibly average.

You think not having a striker isn’t a problem?

I mean he does score late goals on occasion, but he gets that rep because he comes on when a goal was needed.
The thing that Giroud will actually help with is acting as a pivot in the transition game and in the low block. He can hold the ball pretty well, and is magnificent with his back toward goal. His hold-up play should give more options for midfielders, as well as more space to work in front of them. Playing Fabregas or Hazard off of him, and giving him midfield runners to link with is the best way to get the best out of him.

It's a problem, but Morata will get healthy. Giroud will provide something very different off the bench, and he can play with Morata. He'll also provide Morata with competition. That problem will get better. Our midfield is going to continue to be a problem. There's not a solution. Fabregas is useless unless we're playing scrub teams. Bakayoko is so hit or miss right now (mostly miss). Drinkwater is average. We literally have Kante trying to do everything by himself. He's great at what he does, but he's not going to make magic happen going forward.

We all need to accept we aren’t really a buyers club anymore, at least in terms of competing with the elite teams in Europe, and when I say we all I really mean me. It’s sad to watch but it was fun while it lasted

We're basically becoming arsenal of a few years ago. I think the new stadium is priority #1 and we're gonna suck and struggle until the thing opens and starts making money.
The only hope is some of these youngins develope into world class, or close enough, talents to bridge the gap.
With pedro, willy and cesc all getting older and needing replacements soon, the future is very depressing.

How is Bakyoko a professional at this
Posted on 2/5/18 at 2:31 pm to olddawg26
I'd like to submit to the court that I said this^^ before he even got his first yellow
Posted on 2/5/18 at 2:34 pm to olddawg26
That was one of the worst individual performances I've seen in awhile. Bakayoko was an embarrassment for the 30 mins he played.

If bakayoko gets a red for that, then he should have gotten a yellow for that challenge on pedro. Lets keep it in the same universe

Yall just keep spending in the wrong areas, making purchases that make no sense.
