I have a terrible feeling about this weekend. Just feels like it could be one of those absolutely humiliating losses.

Can't wait to lose to Arsenal at the Bridge next week. That should be a nice doodoo cherry and this shite cake Idk we are pretty good at mucking things up ourselves.

Any Arsenal fan expecting a point is delusional. I know I'm not.

You obviously haven't watched Chelsea this year. It's not a fluke, we are terrible.

Thoughts on today's game:

It wasn't a great performance, but it was the first time this season I feel like there has been something to build on. It was also interesting to see the team lineup in what looked more like a 4-3-3.

CLEAN SHEET: I really don't care who it was against and I don't care they missed a sitter at the end. Was absolutely vital for confidence.

GOALS: 1 was an accident/bad goalkeeping, 1 was a penalty, 1 was sublime the other was a great counter attack. It was nice to see an opposing goalkeeper have to pick the ball out of his net. Once again, not great opposition, but this team just needed to score without conceding.

Individuals.

RLC: Superb for me. MOTM. He picked up the early yellow and then didn't put a foot wrong. Tracked back well to win the ball/cut off passing lanes. Made some great runs from midfield. Just seems so calm on the ball. Very confident for his age. I'd like to see him and Matic form a partnership. I think it could be lethal if RLC continues to develop quickly with Matic sitting back and RLC having more of the box to box role. RLC offers way more without the ball than Fabregas.

Fabregas: Ended up with a goal and provided an excellent ball into Costa for an assist. Was great to see those two link up again. Hopefully this was a good first step in him regaining some form.

Hazard: Penalty miss was shocking and he just seems to be pressing hard. Last season it seemed a lot more natural. However, I didn't think his performance was as bad as some have suggested. There were a couple times where he darted through defenders only to be crowded out or have his shots blocked. It certainly wasn't his night, but there were signs of life and the guy who won POTY last season.

Costa: I don't know if Jose was resting him or making a statement, but when Willian's injury saw him come on, he looked a threat. Made some great runs, worked hard and scored a wonderful goal. Also didn't seem to get into much extracurricular activity tonight. Just good, physical center forward play.

Baba: Had one terrible giveaway, but other than that he was decent enough. Wasn't particularly a standout performer, but I'll take that after having Ivanovic stand out in the wrong way. He will certainly offer much more going forward than Dave ever can at LB. Would like to see the same two fullbacks against Arsenal.

Willian and Pedro out against Arsenal.

Interested to see how we line up. I wonder if Kenedy gets the start?

Costa
Kenedy Oscar Hazard
Matic Fab
Baba Zouma Cahill Dave

Starting Fabregas in the pivot would probably lead to disaster.

We've gotten extremely screwed too, from hazard getting banned for the ball boy "incident" to last year when your fricking goalie took out oscar with no penalty or card. Y'all lost get the frick over it, I've heard more bitching from arsenal in 2 days than I have ever from any team.

Diego Costa is a Chelsea player. And besides, there were people on this forum saying they would never support him at Chelsea because of the way he acted against y'all in the CL. Don't act like his behavior has never happened before.

I'm not. I don't like Costa. The production isn't worth the drama, IMO.
