yes no visual proof, a blog and a cop making quotes, do man united sell out every game? No early round league cup games with basically reserve sides playing will not sell out but 10k empty seats for EPL games

The guardian is a pretty respectable paper and I found a ton more links corroborating it. Nobody is saying ManU isn't the best supported club in England but don't act like you pack out the stadium for every single game because you clearly don't.
A least you aren't keeping on with your Chelsea is the king of London and Ethiad is WAY bigger than Stanford Bridge nonsense. But you know sooooooooo much more than me about English football

the figures you posted are absurd, you do realize a majority of this board watches united games to root against them im sure they would have noticed to, or some away fan at the game would have taken pictures.

the chelsea being the top club in London is def a debate and when did i ever say city had a way bigger stadium, i said they had higher avg attendance b/c its a bigger stadium.

You have anecdotal evidence I have hard numbers. While it's certainly possible that there was a mistake made in this reporting, it's not as likely as you're just being a homer.

Even so, those numbers still defy your original statement that Chelsea fans are somehow better because they support their club and pack it out every game while Ethiad is allegedly half empty all of the time.

I think that they still have a significant fanbase in London, transplants from Manchester included.
They do have significant support from the Manchester area, and that's often overlooked.
I mean, FC United of Manchester drew like 3,000 their first season in god knows what awful level of soccer.

Yeah you pretty much do and allow no room at all for the other side's position like i do when i say things like "It's possible that the reporting is faulty" or call people names when you don't like their view points. Just a life tip.
