Not sure if mentioned yet but 3 Chelsea fans stabbed in Turkey.

I watched the Galatasaray-Chelsea match instead, knowing Madrid would blow Schalke the frick out. Too bad the refs took away Galatasaray's first goal because they let two balls onto the field of play during that throw in though.

Thats the problem.
They werent attacked because of the uprising, they were targeted because they were Chelsea fans and that is cause for UEFA to do something.
Its not like Gala fans have a history of being calm and welcoming. Any time English fans go there they get stabbed, saying "oh you know it might happen" doesn't excuse anything.
I bet if this happened to US fans you wouldn't be so nonchalant about it.

But, the USA was scheduled to play Ukraine in Kiev. It was moved to Cyprus.
However, if the game was played in Kiev and some of our fans got stabbed, it would be par for the course in my opinion.
Turkey is in the middle of an uprising that is a smaller scale of what's going on in Ukraine.
UEFA should have moved the match.
But, the USA was scheduled to play Ukraine in Kiev. It was moved to Cyprus.
However, if the game was played in Kiev and some of our fans got stabbed, it would be par for the course in my opinion.
