Wenger likes to stick Ozil out on the wing and require him to defend. He's also required to work hard to create openings for himself and try to whip in a lot of crosses. Then he gets a lot of grief from pundits when he doesn't perform his best.

I think Ozil is best when he's given freedom behind the striker to pull the strings.

If Monaco let Arsenal get any type of momentum, they'll be in trouble.

Giroud just went close. Arsenal would really use an early goal.

Sanchez has been quiet so far, but he just changed cleats. Watch out, Monaco!

I've never understood why soccer players have such issues with cleats, but it's almost never one with football players.

They are the best defensive team in the competition and have not given up 3 goals at home in 3 seasons.

What a vicious strike from Cazorla. If that wasn't blocked, I doubt the keeper had it covered.

I'm aware of this, but if any team is going to pull a ridiculous come from behind victory out of nowhere, it's Arsenal.

They will be difficult team to break down. Especially three times. They are set up well and have only given up one goal in their last 12 home games, none in Europe

Cleat issues in American football aren't uncommon, but the players can change them quietly and without notice during possession changes. Soccer players don't have that luxury, so it's more noticeable.

I like that idea of whipping balls from Aresenal's right to the back post to let Welbeck play them either back across to Giroud or to take the chance at goal himself.

ETA: Well, I guess it can be from either side, just opposite Welbeck, since Danny is switching about.

And that was decidedly un-Arsenal. It's still 1 of the goals needed, and it counts all the same.
