Nah, you missed the fact that the Santos GK pulled one back for them 39 secs into the match.
Not to mention Dos Santos hit one right at the GK about 8 mins before half.

This is like a Santos home game. Gerard and De Jong probably wondering why the hell they're in MLS now getting "ole'd" by Mexican teams.
This has to be psychological, these Mexican teams cannot be this much better than MLS clubs. I've watched every CL match so far. I guess the preseason factor is huge.

The ref is an idiot. Gave a yellow card to Gerrard for a clean tackle and doesn't give one to a santos Laguna player who kills a fast break by hacking down Lletget.

Pretty pathetic so far for MLS. Something needs to be done to prep the teams better because they look dead toward the end of the game. How about play a couple of regular season games atleast before this starts. Also, why not play preseason games against European teams that are on winter break?
