most brasilians are embarrassed when Neymar pulls his shite. Besides that everyone loves him because he does a lot for the community, and is always friendly with the fans.

All the time? Lol no. Insecure soccer fan acting like flopping is just as frequent in the NBA or NFL is my favorite

If all you can see is flopping while watching this game, then it might not be the sport for you.

It's a combination of things. Sometimes, it genuinely is real pain. Getting your foot stamped on hurts way worse than you think.

Yeah. People act like getting tripped while you're running as fast as you possibly can doesn't hurt. There is some embellishment but that shite still hurts

Kicking people, fouling on purpose, and stepping on players are all worse offenses than exaggerating the effects of contact.

Neymar went overboard, but he was calling attention to a really dirty play by Layun. The refs should do more to stop the dirty play.

Seriously. Or getting your feet stepped on by cleats...hurts like hell. It’s like stubbing your toe, debilitatingly painful for a couple minutes but ultimately you can walk it off and be fine. Rolling and writhing in pain is a bit much, but can’t deny that it hurts.

Have you ever seen an NFL player roll-over on the ground 6 times and stay down on the ground for 4 minutes because a 300lb lineman stepped on his foot?

But you see it with Neymar all the time and others. And no 300lb guy is stepping on their foot.

You would if it could cause the opposing team to play a man down for the last 3 quarters.

but it's literally every 5 minutes at least in Soccer.

It literally isn't.

But hey, I'll kick you with metal cleats and you tell me it doesn't hurt.

It's either a red card by the action or it's not.

If the ref is using these antics and "extent of injury" as a basis for a red card that's pathetic.

So how many times does Neymar have to roll on the ground for the ref to elevate a yellow to a red?

And get off the field dude. They're acting like they just got Joe Theismanned. Have the trainers come out and pull you off the field so we can get back to the game.

And if you're so hurt, can't they bring back those WWII stretchers and magic spray.

That was always my favorite part, they carry the guy off on a stretcher and once he hits the sideline he hops off and runs back into the game.
