I don’t think we (Spurs) can say that to Liverpool in particular after last year’s match

Ref taking something into account there. I don’t even think he signaled an advantage.

Oh, that’s going to piss off some Liverpool fans

I think the ref could still yellow card him since play never stopped between the challenge and the goal.

These last 2 games show how important Szoboslai to our midfield we have desperately missed him

Yeah the press hasnt been the same without Dom's energy. Gotta credit Spurs. They deserved this one today. Glad to see Nunez come on and play well. He's been nonexistent at times lately.

Spurs were due for a bit of fortune to fall our way.

And as I type that Isak gives Newcastle a 3-0 lead. Pretty steep hill to climb for Arsenal

Nvm they got VAR’d

The time Arsenal takes over every freekick is nauseating. It doesn’t even make any sense for them down 2-0 either

Between them and Newcastle having a lead, this may be an all-time low for ball in play time.

If Newcastle plays like that in the final, it’s hard to see them not winning it.

Spurs vs Newcastle for a trophy would be quite the storyline but I’m obviously hoping that doesn’t happen

Geordies are like the New Jersey guidos of England. When they've had a few pints or are in a group, I understand about 1 word out of 4.

Geordies

It's half of Mancunians I can't pick a word out of a sentence. I didn't understand any of, "will that pint be all," from most of the bartenders. I had a bad dream last night that the Spurs beat us 5-0 this afternoon.

Imo, the accent closest to American English is the West Country dialect (Cornwall doesn't count because it's Celtic). Spend some time in Somerset or Devon and you'll feel right at home. The East Anglian dialect in Norfolk, Suffolk and parts of Lincolnshire is also apparently the basis for hillbilly-speak.
