Goalkeepers: Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Luis Robles (New York Red Bulls)
Defenders: Kellyn Acosta (FC Dallas), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Matt Miazga (New York Red Bulls), Eric Miller (Montréal Impact), Tim Parker (Vancouver Whitecaps), Marc Pelosi (San Jose Earthquakes), Matt Polster (Chicago Fire)
Midfielders: Fatai Alashe (San Jose Earthquakes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Jermaine Jones (unattached), Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution), Tony Tchani (Columbus Crew SC), Wil Trapp (Columbus Crew SC)
Forwards: Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), Ethan Finlay (Columbus Crew SC), Jerome Kiesewetter (VfB Stuttgart), Jordan Morris (unattached), Khiry Shelton (New York City FC), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)
Khiry Shelton but no Sebastian Lletget.
Dude is behind Patrick Mullins in NYCFC's depth chart while Lletget tore up the league. Jurgen, however, did say that he was trying to integrate some U-23 guys ahead of their double header vs Colombia.

Before his move to San Jose, I didn't expect to ever see Pelosi in a USMNT jersey.

Why is that? And how has he played for San Jose?

Ok, Jurgen clearly has a thing with Lletget. I don't know what he did but he pissed off Klinsmann.

Because of his broken leg. I didn't think he would be able to live up to his former potential. He's done well since the move to San Jose.

Tony Tchani's inclusion is funny because recently accepted a call-up to Cameroon. He wound up with a small "injury" and never got capped during some recent friendlies. I never thought he was much of a prospect, but Klinsmann will cap anyone with an American passport.
I happy to see Robles get his just shot at the third string keeper position. Also ecstatic to see Will Trapp and Ethan Finlay with the senior team.

I really wonder what Benny did/said to Jurgen during the 2014 camp cupcake.

He was the only player who looked worthy of playing for the national team in that abortion of a friendly against Canada.

Due to player injuries, U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has had to make a few changes to his January camp roster.
On Friday, U.S. Soccer announced that Stanford fullback Brandon Vincent, as well as San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper David Bingham, D.C. United defender Steven Birnbaum and Perry Kitchen, will join the U.S. camp.
The additions make up for the withdrawals of San Jose Earthquakes players Fatai Alashe and Marc Pelosi, as they are both recovering from injuries.
So we don't have any left backs, really, so we have resorted to calling in college kids at that position
I guess we can just play defensive midfielders in every position. These games should go swimmingly.
I also don't understand why we didn't just have a full U23 camp along with the full MNT camp, and have the teams scrimmage.

That college LB is fundamentally more solid than any other back we have not named Fabs or Ream.

On what basis are you making this claim? I would bet that seasoned pros in Garza, Villafana, Castillo, and Rogers are all more technically proficient than a college player. Chris Tierney too, and those are just the left backs that we could have seen this camp. And while it wouldn't have happened during a January camp, Eric Lichaj has been deserving of a call up for quite some time. For some unknown reason, he's been deemed unworthy of a call up while Timothy Chandler's lazy arse keeps getting called up. It doesn't make any sense.

I'm aware. But it's sad that we don't have any real, professional left backs in this camp. Hell, we don't have any outside backs really. Tierney should have gotten a shot. He has been awesome for the revs.

Interesting Pelosi is listed as a defender. Pretty sure he plays a CM role with San Jose that's a little more attacking minded.
Fatai Alashe is a bright prospect.

Pelosi played a decent amount of left back for the Liverpool youth teams.

Jason Kreis has joined the coaching staff for this camp. Odd news, but maybe this team will actually learn something about tactics.

That's pretty cool. Props to Jurgen and Co for bringing in some help.

I would LOVE it if Kreis somehow joined the staff full time. Won't happen, but I can dream.

I would love it too. We need a tactician.
