both goals directly his fault. this is clear as day. even i can see it. passes right to open portugal player in front of goal. then decides to let his guy run right past him for an easy header for the tying goal. how can anyone defend cameron for this game. let's not talk ghana. let's talk portugal. cameron cost us this.

I'm sad that your troll arse is the only person to correctly identify who cost us this game.

That defending of the last cross was shite soup.

Landycakes would've won the game for us.

He made a number of great tackles to stop Portuguese breakaways. He made two big mistakes, but it's unfair to give him the full blame.

Portugal scored two goals. Both were his fault. Who else is there to blame?

How is it unfair? He may as well have played for Portugal of that first goal, and he may as well have already been in the locker room for the second. We dominated that game with the exception of his two colossal frickups.

Exactly. I expected more from a veteran leader like Bradley thats why Im harder on him post game but there is no excusing, at the very least, that clearance at 5' that led to a goal.

How do you not know there's someone behind you in that situation? He thought he could clear it with his foot.

This. The 1st goal was bad and he made an embarrassing mistake. And the 2nd goal was a perfect pass from Ronaldo. If it was anything less than perfect, they dont score. Cameron wasnt in the best position, not saying he was, but its not like he let the guy run free or was completely out of position. He was in ok position and it took a perfect pass from Ronaldo to beat him.
Cameron was arguably our best player vs Ghana, along with Jones. And he bounced back well after making that mistake early on.
Every player makes mistakes during a soccer match. You can rewatch the match and see every player making a costly mistake that could have changed the game in our favor or in Portugals favor. And you can do the same thing for Portugal as well.
Without Cameron, we would be 0-2 with 0 pts.

FIFY. Today he was terrible for us. No other way to put it.

I'm sorry, but you can't be responsible for two goals and not have your play labelled as terrible.

Made 2 mistakes, but was great in between those mistakes. Made numerous tackles and stops against Portugal in goal scoring opportunities.
Like I said, you could go re-watch the match and watch every player make costly mistakes. Mistakes that could have changed the game.
Not saying his play was great. Just saying he wasnt the only reason this game was a tie and not a W.

Yes, you can. See Kelvin Wilson v Barcelona at Camp Nou.

No one else's mistakes directly accounted for goals. Sorry. That gets you labelled as terrible for the day.

Howard bit on Nani's fake at the first goal. Was on the ground before Nani even shot.
