So, who do you guys think will be the biggest impact transfers into the Bundesliga this season (strikers and mids)? I have a fantasy Bundesliga draft coming up next week and pick 2nd. It's a keeper league so the existing league stars are already taken. I was very shitty with my drafting last year and it showed with a bottom 4 finish.

I'm thinking Demeble should make an immediate impact...but he may go 1st in the draft. Assuming he does, should I look for another transfer into the league? Or do I take either Douglas Costa or Charles Aranguiz (both are available)?

As far as young guys that no one will have, Gladbach brought in Laszlo Benes and Mamadou Doucoure from outside Germany. They are both 18. However, I have no idea how big of an impact they will have, if any.

You should see if anyone has Jann Sommer or Mahmoud Dahoud.

Right now, I think my top choice is going to be Demebele @ Dortmund...hoping he'll be there at 2 but I'm not too optimistic. Here are others I'm targeting for my first or 2nd pick (in no particular order):
- M Renato Sanches (Munich)
- M Douglas Costa (Munich)
- F Bobby Wood (Hamburg)
- M Charles Aranguiz (Leverkusen)
- M Naby Keita (RB Leipzig)
- F Kevin Volland (Leverkusen)

Germany U23 is merking Portugal. Gnabry has been great in the Olympics. Black Davie just scored.

Two wins from two for Hannover in 2. BuLi. Seven goals in the two games. I figured of the three relegated sides they would be the one to have the hardest time getting back. So far, so good.

Oktoberfest starts this weekend. I want fricking beer. Have a couple Ayinger fests sitting around.

I'm sure better options exist in Germany but I usually stock up on Ayinger, Warsteiner, Weihenstephan and Hacker-Pschorr and do ok. Hofbräu and Spaten easy to get too.

American fests are so fricking hit and miss though Sierra Nevada pairs with a small Bavarian brewery every year and usually pulls out something quite good.
