I seriously doubt that unless Javi is getting paid substantially more than Llorente. Llorente is on ~£50k per week.

The seller has no obligation to sell. If Bayern want him pay the tax.

Read the stories about the transfer. All bayern officials are saying it too. He's willing to take 2mm less per year to be able to complete the switch. That isn't my opinion.

Sorry, the way you worded that sounded like he was actually taking a paycut. Which he isn't. Taking less is admirable though.

And I'm not really sure why everyone is saying these guys have "tremendous loyalty" to Bilbao. Javi is willing to take a pay cut to leave and Bilbao have all but burned Llorente at the stake. They both want out desperately.

I think the Bielsa hiring was in a way, an attempt to placate both players' ambitions to regularly participate in top flight competitions (in addition to being an affirmation of the success of this type of football in Spain).
They must have felt that new revenue streams would be applicable to the topping up of the income which these two, and Muniain in the foreseeable future, would require.
I just don't think Bielsa is meshing well on a non football/cultural basis up there.
BTW, I'm sure the success Beñat recently had against them at home had to sting.
