Another option I've been using to get beIN is DishWorld. $10 per month gives you access to beIN, beIN Español, and ONE World Sports (Bundesliga, Champions League, Premier League, A-League, J-League). Also Universal Sports and Nautical Channel if you're into stuff like badminton and sailing. You can watch on PC,Mac, Roku, iPhone/iPad, Android, as well as Samsung smart TVs and Blu-ray players at the moment. You can also watch any matches or programs from the last 7 days or so on-demand. It only allows you to watch on one device at a time though; no simultaneous viewing on the same account unfortunately.

Needs to not be on a more expensive package though (on DirecTV at least)

It's on my channel listing....but apparently I don't have that tier. They must've added a tier since I first got my service.

I'm having issues too. It's listed on my guide but I don't get it apparently.

Called Cox they said to sign up online but the online version gives me the same thing Puddinhead got.

Dammit I want this channel.

Seems like a bunch of BS... No, MF'ers! I pay you to be my cable supplier so you handle that end!

If anyone has any suggestions or help with this we'd love to hear it. As a La Liga fan, this would be huge.

I have to imagine since it was just announced, they (Bein) havent updated their website... have you sent an email to their customer service?

Again, I dont understand why cox cant handle the request (I didnt have to go online to sign up)... seems like that is their job.

Same thing here where I live in the NOLA area. It is on the guide but I get an error message saying to tell Cox support reference 1.1.3. I did the online chat last night a Cox support person and the only thing he said is that it is about to launch soon. He didn't know that Bein sports was just recently offered by Cox so I didn't bother asking any more questions.

If you take a look at Cox's TV Lineup (Effective September 2013), they show only have one Sports package, which I have, so it appears Cox is just not real effective at launching channels.

Thanks everybody. Seems like Cox has no clue what's going on, as usual.

Hopefully it will get updated soon and everybody with the sports package will just automatically get it.

When did they do that? I stopped checking and lost hope after the 3rd/4th weekend.

In regards to NBC Live Extra, I just checked the Cox app after LSUMJ mentioned it and I have them. I never scroll to the 1500s in the guide so I didn't notice they were there.

Below are the packages I have with Cox. The guy I talked to seemed totally clueless on what to tell me. I'm gonna try and talk to them again.

Cox TV Starter
Expanded Service
Faith & Values Pak
Advanced TV
Sports & Information Pak
Plus Package

I have questioned that myself over the past two days and all I can come up with is... by the grace of Fowler...

Cox in NOLA is not run by the same people as the rest of Louisiana...which is why the channel listings AND offerings are not identical.
