Beasley, Fabs, Brooks, and Alvarado were all DNP this weekend

Klinsmann has made it clear that this is his preferred back four. So who lines up at the back versus Mexico? Yeah, the rest of our team also kind of sucks right now but the back line is our biggest question mark. Does Klinsmann still insist Brooks and Alvarado are our best CB pairing despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, or does he go the pragmatic route and play Besler with someone else? (And that someone else could be Brooks but Gonzo and Cameron are also possibilities).

Fab at least has an excuse for not playing.

Rafa Marquez out for USA match as well, due to injury. Expect to be out a month.

That's actually probably a bad thing. Dude is a red card waiting to happen. I would gladly take the man advantage.
FMF is sending their doctor to Eindhoven to see Guardado. I hope they rush him back and try to play him injured. Although one has to wonder if a gimpy Guardado is still better than whoever their backup is.

I don't think he will trot out Alvarado. Maybe that is just wishful thinking but I am hopeful.
