Especially for clubs who are out of contention. What exactly do you have to loon forward to the rest of the season if not a cup run?

Most are mid-week against low profile opponents.

Commentators just mentioned the crowds at the other matches but a good one in London today.

United is apparently struggling to sell out the first leg against City in the Carabao Cup. City got a very small allotment as well.

Manchester United and Manchester City have reached a reciprocal agreement under which the away fans in both legs of the Carabao Cup semi-final will receive the usual allocations given in Premier League matches. This agreement was made in the interests of safety for all supporters.
There is your answer, instead of City bring 7-8k they get 3 max. When I went in 2016 City had the entire upper tier on the east end. They also bashed up the bathrooms pretty bad
I looked at the United ticket system site bc I still have membership access. The areas that City would usually have are the ones that are basically up for sale still. They will end up being full by tomorrow. Saw it’s about 3k seats. Those will be full for sure.
The reduction of away seats really fricked it up. Bc that entire tier would have been filled and sold out the stadium.
Also saw it the one priced at £66 a ticket, yikes the most I paid even for the derby was £40.
