Almunia (or Fabianski) will give me extreme stomach pain throughout.

Well, Almunia at keep and Kos at center half. Good thing no Torres, anything to get rid of a beast strikers touch up there gives me confidence.

By the way, when will Arsenal ever play Diaby at a position more natural to his skills? He is always clearly out of position.

OMG did that really happen? As if Arsenal weren't incredibly thin at center half they just lost their new signing, to which could be a season ending injury.
ETA: well if this doesn't force Wenger to sign a center half no matter how much I really don't know what will.

I am not kidding either, if Wenger doesn't go out and spend money for a quality center half I will be pretty damn close to giving up on him. There are only so many hits you can take concerning his frugality.
At least getting a keeper upgrade is most likely going to get done, that is a plus at least.

/optimistic & bias-tinted observations:
we knew it was a gamble starting wilshere in such an important role against liverpool on opening day. that's a lot to ask of someone as young and inexperienced as him. his 'potential' wasn't going to guide him in a game like this. once cesc resumes his role we'll be so much comfortable. not that JW had a terrible game.
LK has a pretty decent time on his debut. He may be able to make a successful appeal on his second card which I believe was undeserved and just a makeup call.
We crossed a ton in his game. quality of those crosses was on and off. wish chamakh or tommy v couldve been on the end some of those.
rosicky provided a spark. at least a shot on goal when we were coming up with nothing else
undeniably bad--
Almunia
Arshavin. so much for shushing Anfield
Nordtveit may have to debut against Blackpool if LK picked up a knock that keeps him out
our team lacked identity and leadsership in the midfield. seemed like we had a carousel of letting nasri, wilshere, and diaby take turns being maestro each not really finding a lot of success.
how in the frick did we play so poorly with one and two men advantages?
jerry spring final thoughts:
I think injury really set us back and our fears manifested themselves with Almunia. I believe we will pick up a GK this week. I strongly hope so at least.
When Cesc and Song are on the field we'll see a lot more composure and incisive ball movement. Chamakh will improve. He looked nervous before the match and was given quite a baptism against Liverpool.
Glad we emerged with a point and hopefully this will have been our worst game of the season.

Schwarzer or SOMEBODY. I can't go through 90+ minutes of this twice a week for the next 9 months.

Seaman says we need Schwarzer or Given. Can't disagree.

Yesterday's second half was an abomination for the most part. What a silly game where both goals came from poor clearances and bad goalkeeper mistakes. Please let's buy a GK and 2 CBs THIS WEEK!

If we don't, I really will lose the faith in Wenger. He says he wants to be here long term after this final year of his contract, but he won't be allowed to stay on if he doesn't go out and shore up the weak links.

Time for baby Jack to step up. A midfield of Wilshere, Diaby and Song is decent enough until Denilson, Fabregas, and Nasri come back.

I feel like our team is made out of glass. We suffer more injuries than anyone else year after year. This blows.
I wonder who will be coming back from injury this week. Song will obviously have to play CB leaving us with who, Sagna, as our CB backup against Blackpool? I would assume RvP or Walcott would take up the RW slot. Wilshere, Diaby, and Rosicky in the midfield? Does Frimpong get a run out? Man this is awful.

christ on a cracker:
YoungGuns blog 'confirming' Frimpong is out for the season after rumors began bubbling up on twitter. Torn ACL
please god let this be some sort of hoax

It just gets worse every day. How is this even possible? Did Wegner at one point make a deal with Satan and God is now punishing him?

that would at least bring some sense into this tornado of misery that keeps making laps around Arsenal FC.
the only consolation is that Diaby looked pretty good as a DM so he can rotate with Song and Denilson (once they're uninjured, sigh).
