Arsenal vs Tottenham: Kevin Wimmer Own Goal Debate

There seems to be some debating on whether this goal should have been allowed or not. So what say you lads, goal or no goal?
I don't think Alexis did enough to become "active". Hell of a finish, either way.

If Koscielny hadn't been onside, then I'd say no goal. As it stands, I think they made the correct call.

I have seen this referred to as a debate but have yet to see someone argue that it shouldn't have been a goal.

As a Spurs fan, I though he was offsides, but my bias could make me lean that way.
I think the main crux of the Spurs side is that had Alexis not been offside, there is no reason for Wimmer to make that play on the ball. His presence could have easily affected Wimmer's though process.
I don't know soccer nearly well enough to say whether that's a reasonable stance or not.
I do believe that if the ball had fallen to Alexis, he slots it in. So, I think that's where my opinion comes from.
ETA: Just read the quote in the above post. That's basically what I'm trying to say.
Bottom line, they need to better-define the rule (handball as well).

Wimmer is a spud but has scored more for Arsenal than he has for Spurs during his career there

No offside. Defender was not impacted by player in offside and deliberately played the ball. Goal.
