I like arshavin, but i see nothing from him. He as a quick step, but loses the ball too much. made some terrible passes today.
I really hope we get eden hazard.

AA was truly god awful. He's had some bad games, but I've never seen him fail so consistently. Wenger needs to get bullish and sub him in the 30th if he starts fricking up like that again. Although in this case I'm not sure who would've subbed on for him. Gambling with Miyachi might've been fun.

I feel pretty comfortable in saying Liverpool would not have scored if Suarez hadn't come in. They were utter shite before that. If they were better than Arsenal before that point it was marginal.

I'd venture to say we were marginally worse.

Just finished the game. Makes me want to vomit. We looked awful and its incredibly worrying considering Arsenal had their toddler squad in. I HATE when we attack through the flanks. It never works, and Carrol is being incredibly unimpressive. Suarez and Kuyt need to play 90 together and Raul surprised me also with how well he worked with Luis.

Regardless someone needs to kick their shite in and wake them up. This team is capable of playing much better than this.

My faith in Raul has not wavered yet. I wouldn't mind seeing him take his starting role back. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing more of then 4-2-3-1 with Lucas and Henderson/Gerrard playing DM and Raul/Kuyt, Downing and Adam feeding Suarez.

He made a lot of the match painful to watch today. I just don't see where he fits in with the "pass and move" Dalglish philosophy. He has demonstrated no ability whatsoever to create any kind of scoring opportunity. The squad looks exponentially more threatening with the likes of Suarez, Downing, Adam, Meireles, etc. combining on the attack. Unfortunately, with a £35m pricetag, I think we'll continue to have to watch him lose challenges he should easily win and piss away our possessions.

It'll be alright. I know it was a weakened Arsenal side, but it was still Arsenal at the Emerites.

We had four starters who are new signings playing in only their second game. Gerrard isn't back yet. We are still figuring out how to use Henderson and Carroll.

There is a ton to be positive about and I haven't even mentioned that before today we have never won at the Emerites.

I think Carroll will be fine. The team will gel.

Carroll was way overpriced at 35 mil. Torres was WAY overpriced at 50 mil. Andy Carroll=2 PL goals. Torres=1 PL goal. Both will gel with their respective teams. Liverpool is handcuffing Carroll with their style of play. Suarez should be upfront with Carroll. Suarez can create more chances for Carroll than just "lob it to Carroll so he can get a head on it" shite Pool is running now.

Pool got the important 3 points at Arsenal. Bottom line is great result no matter how ugly. King Kenny needs to figure out his best squad just like AVB.

I hope you're right, but at his price tag he should be dominating the box. For his size, he plays too soft sometimes.

This is what has me super excited. I've seen flashes of brilliance that should become sustained when they settle on a lineup up top. Like cash said, a ton of positives to take away from today's match. I'll take 3 points away against the top 4 any day...and not feel bad about how we got it.

Let the price tag thing go.

I am trying to adopt that mantra as I watch Fernando Torres week in and week out wondering when he will actually score goals!

Let's put chelsea and Liverpool differences aside for a second.

35 mil should equal how many goals?
50 mil should equal how many goals?

I will go with 20 and 45 goals respectively

he was pretty awful today (I'm more bothered by how he was completely baffled by the offsides rule) but I also feel like he gets unfairly penalized because of his side.

His goal last week was completely legitimate IMO, and today I can think of two separate situations in which a foul was called on him for incidental contact. So maybe that's why he looks soft sometimes.

they need people to write about these games right? Make this an assignment (my knowledge of journalism is probably based on shitty romantic comedies)
