Metro

Would have to be a purchase and rebrand of Chivas USA. Kind of weird because he's the owner of the Rapids already.

So it may actually not be used to move the Rams back to LA?

That's what everyone thought it was for. Could mean that maybe the Rams aren't moving. Or it could mean that he wants to own a football and soccer team in L.A.

LA does not need 3 MLS teams. Hell they don't even need two. I don't think it does much for the growth of the league to go into markets where they already are at. Started a team in a lower tier league wouldn't be a bad idea because more growth needs to happen there.

He already owns Colorado and doesn't utilize that "partnership"

Yeah you are right he should do more with Colorado and Arsenal. Maybe send some players on loan from Arsenal to the Rapids. Also, maybe sending players to Arsenal to train in the off season. I just don't see how MLS could allow someone to own 2 teams anyway. I don't think that it's allowed in other leagues.

He'd probably transfer ownership to his sons if they let him. They should make him sell the team out of the family if he wants to own an L.A. team.

Yeah I think it would be a conflict of interest if ownership of 2 clubs were still in the family since they would likely have the same vote on anything in the league. Instead of a new team he should just take over Chivas.

As of the end of 2012, Kroenke owned 864,000 acres of land across the country.

He should get Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley involved and expand on the LA KISS arena franchise.
