4 miracle goals and an RVP missed penalty. Rationalization is my forte. 3-0 Gunners in my book.

Uefa team of the year
1) how sagna doesn't make it over the likes of alves/pereira is besides me.
2) great to see gervinho and jack making the ballots
3) glad to see that it isn't all real and barca players making the list and it has players from all over.

Travesty. Sagna was the best RB in the EPL last year and it wasn't close. If Sagna and Jackie Boy were healthy right now we would be no worse than third. And we are moving on up without them.

It's amazing that Jack made the list considering how few games he has played.

They UCL tie at The Emirates when he bossed the mid-field against Xavi was proof enough for me. He was the best player on the pitch BY FAR.

it just shows that it isn't all about how you play but how much everyone hypes you up. Jack had an awesome year and was hyped up so even with not playing this season he had enough hype to get him there.
sagna has been the best right back for the last year and a half in the epl, but he isn't getting any hype so when he goes out for a while and it comes time to nominate, he isn't in anyone's mind

Who else is surprised that Djourou and Koscielny have played very well at RB? Perhaps even more surprising, Theo's best run of form yet has come when he hasn't had an attacking RB to link up with. Thought that might affect his effectiveness, but it has not.

Not really surprised. Koscielny is really fast, and could conceivably play at RB more often. Djourou is also rather versatile, having come to Arsenal as a DM.
I actually think a big problem with Theo's form is when he plays with Sagna. Bac is always afraid to bring the ball up field, and is liable to play the ball to Theo's feet instead of in front of him. Theo has never gotten a ball from Sagna like the one he got from Koscielny in the build-up to the fourth goal against Wigan. If you remember, Nasri had his best games for us on the right, because he had Sagna to link with, where Sagna played the ball to his feet, Nasri penetrated, and linked with further forward players. Theo doesn't have Nasri's dribbling ability. He's basically an off-the-shoulder striker playing wide. He needs the ball in behind, or if the defense is playing a high line, he needs to make diagonal runs onto though balls. One thing that has improved tremendously is his crossing ability. I hope he continues that forever. He's been playing some lovely balls into the box.

I agree with the sentiment, but I was surprised to see Alonso miss out.

Is Aaron Ramsey the lead singer for The Killers? Has anyone seen them together at the same time? No? Then it must be true.
Let's all pray Aaron decides not to regrow that mustache.
