We truly used all our luck during The Invincibles season. Wenger must have made a deal with the devil so that Van Nisteelrooy missed that spot kick, among other fortunate occurrences.

I sure hope not. We put a bit more pressure on them late in the half. We're a mediocre team right now but still should hold serve at home.

Ramsey has been holding onto to possession way too long. It kills our attack when he has to dribble backwards to turn. Cesc was so good at turning...

I know he's going to be good one day, but ideally Ramsey should not be a guaranteed starter right now.

If Ramsey could develop a turn, he'd be a lot more effective. Pretty sure the Arsenal bench told Ramsey to get in the hole behind Van Persie. Ramsey just looks nervous. He's not a starter yet, that's obvious. Unfortunately, we have no one better, as Rosicky and Arshavin are shite.

Amazing how much better he looks the further up the pitch. Been great in the second half.

I know. When he's driving with the ball, he's actually powerful, and has confidence. He's been instrumental in both goals.

Also Song is really coming into his own as a passer.

Disappointed AOC didn't get a cameo today. He earned the opportunity to play 10-15.

If Theo's injury is serious, he might play a few 90s coming up.

Doubtful. AA is still above him on the pecking order. Benayoun too whenever he returns.

Hope that Walcott injury was just cramping. Considering its Arsenal though it was probably a hamstring tear.

AOC will get his chance if Theo is out for any extended period of time.

Really pleased with Ramsey's play in the 2nd half. Also Song is immense. His positioning as a pivot is so much better than when he is a part of the double pivot. And his passing for a DM is world class.

So I take it we won?

What were the highs and lows if you don't mind?

I see that Ramsey playing as AM or at least high up the pitch was looking good according to your posts, and Song is still solid but finally learning to pass effectively.

0-0 at half, goal right at the start of the 2nd from RVP, Bolton red card on a Theo breakaway, two more goals against 10 men (RVP and Song), 3-0 final

Haha no worries. Just wanted you to know we had already begun the mourning process. Rosicky, Vermaelen, now Wilshere. All injuries which kept the players out 1000x longer than originally expected. Part of me thinks that's more than a coincidence.
