So no Walcott, Gervinho, and Koscielny vs. Olympiakos. TV5, Djourou, Squillaci, Diaby, Wilshere, and Benayoun also out.
What will the squad look like?
Sagna-Mertesacker-Song-Gibbs
Ramsey-Frimpong-Arteta
Park-Van Persie-Arshavin
I can't see us playing Coquelin or Ox-Chamberlain in this game, though both deserve game time.

I would say that's a pretty good guess based on Wenger's tendencies. I'd like to think he'd play Coquelin, but he won't. Song has to play CB. Too big of a match for Miquel to be thrown in there. I think Santos might get the start over Gibbs. I get the feeling they'll be rotated a lot.

His time will come soon. He reminds me a lot of Denilson, except better. Denilson probably had better technique, but Coquelin is probably more technically gifted than all our other young midfielders save Wilshere (if only Ramsey could develop a turn). Coquelin has the physical advantages over Denilson, who seemed like he was jogging everywhere no matter what was happening. That makes for an exciting prospect.
I think Wenger feels Frimpong is ahead based on physique, and I admit that Frimpong is a freak in that regard. I'd really like to see both of them, Coq and Pong, paired together again, as I think they compliment each other really well.

Miquel is out injured too.
Angha, Boateng, Aneke, Ozyaküp, Miyachi all training with the first team today.

Do these guys just run around with hammers at practice beating the crap out of each other's legs?

Since it's Hate Week, let's revisit reasons to Hate:
Pires going to take a corner at WHL
Good interview with Dragan Stojkovic where he discusses working with Wenger

Isn't he considered one of the favorites to eventually replace Wenger?

Yeah. I hope we don't replace Wenger until he's ready to retire, to keep him from taking over a team with money and winning things.

It'd be pretty baller to see him coach the French national team

Yeah, though I don't know if his style would translate to the international game, which is more about grinding out results due to minimal practice time.

Not too surprised by Ramsey, RvP, and Gibbs being rested. Am a bit surprised Park isn't starting.

Pissed I'm at school and they block P2P.
AOC averaging a goal per start. Keep him in the lineup!

yeah, the java/flash streams usually suck because the entire world is trying to use them. finally figured out how to install isht with admin privileges on my work comp
AOC has given the ball away twice in dangerous areas. Needs to settle his first touch down a little, and the other time was just a lack of understanding on anticipating his teammate's run
edit: defense giving up too many chances/openings on goal. nothing too dangerous coming our way, but our marking could be better (what a revelation, huh?)

Santos makes it 2-0 on an excellent counter with Arshavin and Rosicky, the latter of whom releases Santos on a free run down the sideline, passes to Chamakh whose first time shot is blocked, Santos picks up the rebound on the left side of goal, and tucks it under the GK
