I think you're going to see more Eze at LW this year because you can run a midfield 3 without Odegaard and still progress the ball well with Bruno & MLS in the mix.
Unless we sign a LW before the window closes

People are retards.
I never once thought Rice and Saka wouldn't start. They will be out for months!!
That's like not starting Haaland for city even though he's played a shite load of minutes and played at the WC. That's not a thing. Your best players play when fit.
I dont think any of us were saying that. Just dumb people. They both got minutes in pre season.

I think Saka should have a bit more easing in, and Dec too to be honest.
As long as we rotate well, it won't be an issue but, we haven't done that much because of injuries

I don't remember players missing the first 6 weeks of the season due to the world cup ever. Unless they got hurt at the world cup like Jesus or Saliba.
The conversation around Arsenal the past few seasons has been really weird.

I mean to be fair, Saka played very sparingly at the WC and Rice looked shattered.
Guess the 3 weeks off, and little bit of preseason got them ready enough.
Saka has only played 30 min this preseason, so assume he gets a max of 60 today.
Rice has played 45 so I'd guess he's on some kind of minutes restriction as well

There's something about Tzolis man. Hoping he doesn't end up being shite
He's direct as frick

Yeah that was in my thinking. Saka didn't play as much last season or during the WC. And seeing him look fine in preseason I figured he is starting match week one.
Maybe if Bruno didn't get hurt Rice doesn't start. But no way Rice was going to sit until October. And fans were saying he should sit until then or until after first int break. A lot of doomers were saying Martinelli and Noni would start.
Tzolis looking lively. Seems to fit in perfectly already.

That Coventry right back looks like Gabriel and Jesus had a baby.

Lol, i thought Arsenal was going to struggle because of the corner rules?
Another bullshite narrative.

Really strong start. We look fantastic in midfield

We got new corner rules?
Well that was the talk around during predictions and stuff. That they are supposed to clamp down on the grabbing and holding and it would hurt Arsenal.
Maybe I listened to too many prediction shows this past week.
quote:
Physicality and Corner Chaos
Following high-profile disputes, the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) has adjusted boundaries for physical conduct:
Holding at Corners: Referees have been instructed to clamp down drastically on non-footballing holding, wrestling, and obstruction during corners, meaning defenders are much more likely to concede penalties for excessive grappling.
Hair Pulling Restructured: Red cards for hair pulling will be relaxed. A direct red will only be given if there is a clear, deliberate action with "excessive force and/or brutality." Violations without excessive force will receive a yellow card instead.
quote:
Expanded VAR Protocols
Officials are leaning heavily on technology to solve critical talking points from last season:
Second Yellow Cards: VAR can now intervene and review second yellow cards that result in a red card, but strictly to overturn clear errors. VAR cannot recommend a second yellow card if the on-field referee did not award one.
Pre-Set Piece Fouls: If an attacking foul occurs just before a set piece is taken—which ultimately leads to a goal, penalty, or red card—VAR can step in to order the set piece to be retaken.
Mistaken Identity: VAR can now intervene specifically to ensure disciplinary action or simulation cards are assigned to the correct player.

Tzolis with another assist. He is going to have 30 G/A by the end of the year.
