I'll still contend that Odegaard and Zubi don't work well together. Got to have a midfielder that can dribble around/away from people and neither one of them can do that other than going backwards

All that being said, we haven't won at Everton in a long time, so I'm happy with 3.
Hopefully a heavy rotation on Tuesday

I mean he’s just coming back from injury.
Once again Arsenal expected goals was 1.61 better than Everton. City was 1.12 expected goals better than West Ham.
City is riding some absurd expected goals luck on both ends of the pitch the last few weeks that is drastically shaping people’s view of the season.
If both teams keep playing like this I still favor Arsenal to get it done. Especially with Havertz and Gabi to return

That's where expected goals is a little deceiving. They've got Haaland, we've got no one on that level. They've got a lot of attackers, and platform them really well.
We've got some decent attackers, but don't always platform them well and we are average finishers as a whole.
We do have the better defense, but all it takes a few lucky bounces when all we do is score 1 or 2 a game. It's a bad way to play because you ask for shite like Wolves & Sunderland to happen.
ETA: When we don't have the easy 3-0 games, there's a lot of mental fatigue that I think weighs the team down. They need to come out firing and scoring early on so you can just rely on the defense and possession to see out games. Margins are so slim, you can't rely on winning everything 1-0

Haaland I’ll give you and it definitely can be a little deceiving, but beating expected goals by over two goals a game over the course of six months would be historic and unheard of. That’s what City has done in the league in this stretch of games. Not just on offense too, they’re keeping clean sheets even though average over a goal conceded in expected goals

I'm not disagreeing with you, but they make winning look a whole lot easier than we do, and again I think it's mental fatigue for the team and not letting guys get properly rotated.
I don't think City is going to run away or anything because their defense is a little suspect, but they're a lot like Liverpool last year in that they are willing to sacrifice out of possession because they can score in bunches.

Great game. Away wins with a clean sheet are rare in the PL.
Take it and move on. 3 straight home games. Be ruthless and send a message please.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Exactly how I feel. We need to be more decisive so the randomness in football doesn't come back to bite us, which has already happened this year in Liverpool, Sunderland, Villa, that's 4 pts dropped in like the combined last 10 minutes of games.
Almost happened against Wolves as well. They just have to be better and be more urgent to go up 2 goals where possible.
