Very unconvincing win.

Does not give me much hope.

Hopefully Kai & Eze aren't out for any length of time.

Outcreated at home in a must win game. Just a terrible performance. Happy for 3 pts, but if we play like that 0 chance we win 4 more games

My god Vik. What the frick is that

Payback for it being done to him 3 times

That was bad. Praying to Jesus that Eze and Havertz recover.

Another season another big player back another back player injury

The only encouraging thing was the fact that we broke the press and were off on the break a few times. Give me more of that with Saka and Martinelli and Vik in there, we will eventually score on the break. You could see the lack of confidence going forward. Keep pushing.

I mentioned earlier this week that we just need Ws against Newcastle and Fulham. We need fricking Ws and throttlings of the other 3. If Odegaard gets hurt again or Saka too, it is all she wrote

It took a deflection and a wonder goal for city to beat Southampton.

We can't even get a shot off here. That's the easiest pass in the world, and then you have a 2-0 vs GK.

These guys just continually stink up the fricking joint man.

Yeah our attack sucks.

But top of the league. Just keep winning.

If we can get through the fulham match we may just do it. The coming back from away in Europe can mess us up at times.

City's game on May 17th vs Bournemouth is getting rescheduled. Probably to earlier in the week due to the FA Cup final. So they will have Brentford at home and Bournemouth away in quick succession. Need Bournemouth and Brentford to keep getting results so they have a chance at Europe and give it a go against City

This is what happens when you keep playing the ball fricking backwards when you have space. That goes for Odegaard, Rice, Zubi (huge fault of his), Madueke, and Martinelli. Stop doing that shite

Eze was interviewed afterwards and he said it was just a precaution, and he'll be fine. Let's hope that is true.

I don't think we'll be that lucky with Kai

I did love to see MLS in there at midfield. Broke a line with a pass to Saka within a few minutes of coming on. Would love to see a midfield 3 of Him/Rice/Odegaard

I don't take Ezes words seriously with injuries after he missed the EFL final and like 2 other games

Nerve-ball. Most disappointed in Gabriel because he knows better. I get last ditch hoof it but man it has been bad.

After the City match I was feeling better about the chances against Atletico, and possibly scoring more goals and going past City in GD. But then today happened

Odeegard man. That decision to not play Gyokeres into space 1 v 1 and go sideways / backwards had me screaming at the TV.

3 points. Clean sheet at home. Job done.

First double over Newcastle since 20/21 also. Happy about that. They are in horrific form. Eddie Howe in serious trouble for his job

Yeah the bad pass from gyok is going to be what people remember. But he did win a couple of free kicks just by being a nuisance. He had the one play where he cleared it, chased it down and somehow won the ball back. Then his teammates decided to just go sideways and backwards with it. Not his fault.

After watching it back, that was absolutely a dogso, should have been red.

If you reverse the position of the players (CB/GK) it's for sure a last man foul

Which foul again? I watched sporadically.

We got the dub. Just keep stacking them
