34 of 39 remaining points and we are champions baws.

Come on you scouse fricks. Get a result. Come on Arne.

Gyokeres, Trossard, Martinelli, Havertz in top form

Let's fricking go boys. We look like we did in November

Also Romero red earlier today means he misses the NLD

It was always about holding on until Havertz was back. He’s been our best non-defensive player when healthy since early 2024.

Speaking of Havertz, another reminder that people thought he was as a complete waste of $60m until about late January/February of his first year when things started to click. Lot of short memories because there’s another $60m signing who struggled early that is rounding into form in late January early February of his first year…

Yep. It's what has frustrated me so much about the Gyokeres narrative. People hammered Havertz and Henry too years ago. Just shut the frick up and judge him in May.

That 2nd goal was vital today

I don’t know if Arsenal have had a true “bust” of a transfer in under Arteta. Whether it’s man management or tactical tweaks or good initial scouting (or a combination thereof) pretty much everyone who comes in eventually finds a role and a way to contribute positively when called upon.

Maybe I’m forgetting a few especially early on but the track record is such that I just don’t understand shitting on signings this early in their tenure, especially sitting top of literally every single completion and by every metric the best team in the world

The thing with Havertz was he was bought and played in Xhaka’s position and it wasn’t clicking. So I always felt we still needed to add in midfield. And since we’ve signed merino, zubimendi, Norgaard and Eze.

And in hindsight 60-70 million pounds is the going rate for attackers.

Great to see his revival. Been a key piece for going on 2 months now. Him & Vik killers off the bench against tired legs. Fun to watch

Couple others thoughts from the game:

Thought Calafiori was off it today, hopefully just rust.

Eze looked great when coming on. Very much a transition monster.

We seriously need to get Rice & Zubi some rest. MLS & Norgaard going to have to soak up some midfield minutes at some point.

Trossard looked the best he has in a few months. Hopefully his injury isn't too serious.

Great win. Vik got 2 goals which we love. Clean sheet again. All open play goals. I miss our set pieces.

COME ON LIVERPOOL

Anyone else notice how Dec was being very animated at the end of the game, directing people on the press and build up play.

Don't remember seeing him that vocal before

More reason why I think Odegaard leaves this year. Dec Gabi and Saka are the leaders of this team.

Also. Could be a generational hate watch today with City. Liverpool could essentially be deal a massive blow in the top 4 race if they don't win. Could feel like they aren't catching United or Chelsea.

Please you stupid scouse losers play out of your skin and not respect ball

So are we going to have the media proclaim these teams unwatchable because it’s 0-0 at half time?

You don't understand this is a generational tactical battle. One of the best I've ever seen. I mean look at Ait Nouri pushed up high and Semenyo at the 10 s/
