Chelsea, Man City, and Spurs all in the first 6 matches.
Better hope those wishful transfers actually happen

Don't know much about this guy, but he's young and has a lot of potential it seems.
Realistically these are the types of players Arsenal should be going for. Young, a bit on the cheaper side with some potential. Id rather us buy 3 guys at 20 than one at 60 and the 60 never live up to it.

Arsenal 40m bid for Ben White rejected. Looks like Saliba could be on his way out before he's even had a chance.

Which is crazy considering how well Saliba played this past season.

As reported last month, Dinos Mavropanos is not in Mikel Arteta's plans for next season.
Arsenal have set a £7m asking price for the Greek defender and are in advanced talks with Stuttgart over a permanent deal.

I'm told that William Saliba is assessing his options ahead of Ben White's likely move to Arsenal.
The 20-yr-old is expected to return for pre-season training - but loan move is the probable outcome now.
Newcastle, Nice, Marseille & others want him.

An Arsenal academy player told his agent last season that Saliba is ‘the best centre back at the club’.
Will be interesting to see how this one unfolds as there is a huge clamour from fans to see Saliba play for #AFC.

Everything you hear about him on the pitch is he is a very talented young center back. Yet the club is seemingly railroading him into leaving. There has got to be something behind the scenes forcing him out that isn't about his play.

Yea, I don't really understand his situation. Why spend 50m for another CB when you just bought one for 20m two years ago who's excelled elsewhere. Arteta must hate him or something.

Konstantinos Mavropanos joins Stuttgart from Arsenal, worth up to £5m. 1yr loan then 3yr deal if turned permanent. £500k loan fee, £3m chance to buy (obligation if #VfB stay up, option if relegated). Bonuses up to £1.5m. Sell-on clause @TheAthleticUK #AFC

Not bad. I remember when he played under Arsene. Def was a deer in headlights back then.
Which is even crazy we are giving up on saliba.ler the young CB play and progress. And everything pints to him being further along than mavropanos was at this stage.
Looks like we are signing Ben White. I think he can be a good player, but got damn. We are going to pay 50 mil for him. And still have 5 other cbs.

Dude must be a head case in the locker room. Idk I like Ben White the player but I kinda feel the same as when we signed Auba when had literally just signed lacazette.
Still need at least 2 midfielders and probably another forward player

I know Arteta and Edu weren’t there when Saliba was purchased, but the possibility of him being loaned for a third straight season after paying 30 million is a total failure.

I just don't understand this club. They desperately need a starting right back, and plenty of center mids. Center mid where many matches are won and lost mind you. Yet they are making their priority to add a center back which is already a position with some depth, and at an exorbitant fee no less.
Center mid, right back, backup left back, and possibly a striker are all pressing needs. Along with getting rid of the excess wages/players deemed not necessary. The club makes their first signing a super over priced center back. I just can't trust the decision makers at this club, and it sucks because it makes me feel the club is going to be outside the top 4 for quite a while longer at this rate.

Arsenal and Benfica have an agreement in principle for Nuno Tavares - LB target revelead two days ago. Deal set to be completed for €8m as guaranteed fee + add ons. #AFC
Personal terms [until June 2026] and agents fee agreed. Paperworks still to be signed/completed.

The losers on r/Gunners hate this deal because Nuno Taveres has videos (grant it weird ones) of his dog licking Nunos mouth and tongue.
I don't fricking care if he has anal sex with pigeons in his free time. We have a nice cheap and young left back option now.

alexis had a strange relationship with his dogs. So what? I thought the fans embraced that.
People like dogs more than people.
Vieira is going to be coaching Palace.
Also think we are getting the lokonga deal done. I think Anderlecht wants a bigger % of a sell on clause.
But the lokonga and taveres deals are the exact profile of players arsenal should be going after to help strengthen the squad and wont be a huge loss if they end up just being average players for us.
