Heard some stat that before yesterdays match, Arsenal's previous 3 EPL away clean sheets came in different calendar years :(

Yea, that's pretty crazy. We have a better chance at getting a clean sheet if Mental Mistakes Mustafi isn't playing.

Earlier this year it was widely reported that Arsenal would only have a £45m transfer budget this summer, after failing to qualify for the Champions League, but the club has actually splashed out well over £100m. This thread explains how this was possible #AFC

I started to post individual tweets, and then I was like, "I have no idea what half of this shite means." So, I just linked it.

Y'all saw the moves to improve Emirates atmosphere? Knock on wood but it appears ole stan has given the reigns to his son, who actually appears care ... or at lease appears to be trying to make a name for himself by the way he runs the club.

I saw the son now has more control, but haven't seen anything about changing the Emirates.

Can you link where you saw the changes to the atmosphere? They need to let them pop red smoke and flares because that was too live last year versus spurs.

From Charles Watts Twitter-
quote:

Ozil and Kolasinac both back at Colney, Emery confirms. Ozil was ill on Wednesday, but better today. Decision will be taken on Friday as to whether they can feature against Burnley - but Emery says mentally they are '100%' ready to play.

Get Ozil some god damn vitamins ffs

I saw a mention on Reddit about letting one of the supporter groups to all sit together at Emirates which I assume wasn’t happening before.
Seems like Kroenke’s son taking a more active role has definitely been a positive

Josh tried to warn us around mid July.

really hoping this is the case. most believe his direct leadership is the reason for the Nuggets turnaround.

Ceballos AND Luiz start. Lacking a little defensively I would say with Guendouzi, Ceballos and Luiz all in at the same time but I am excited for this lineup. Ozil not in the squad worries me some however... and welcome back LACA!

Update from Arsenal twitter :

Mesut Ozil: was ill earlier in the week, and judged not to be match fit for today's game #ARSBUR

Young lineup through midfield and the rt side, still have pepe, mhki, kola and torreira on the bench.

Interested in seeing how Luiz does. This could be good, or turn really bad.

I loved how a lot of the English were upset about Josh's comments. I listened to him actually speak and most what he said made every bit of sense. It was just, ok, can this set up get it done. And they have brought excitement there hadn't been in a while.

I see other clubs struggling with their rosters and in the market. We insert the guy that was doing it big at Barca and take a completely diff approach than we did under Wenger that was getting us left behind.

Becky Lowe said Ozil's security situation is gang related
That dude just needs a new start on a new continent.

The club said he was ill but could see it still being gang related.
