David Luiz masterclass. fricking goat. Wish he’d put those performances in consistently. Love how much of a leader he is and him going up to AMN after the game to congratulate him was great.

Also wish Tite would quit being a bitch and call him up. He deserves another shot at the NT, 7-1 wasn’t his fault

Biggest win in a long time. Arteta was terrific with his gameplan. A trophy in his first year would be enormous for Artera. Would help with keeping Auba and attracting other players to come here.

Disappointing match today, not like it had much impact on a chase for Europa or anything. Bit of a comedown from beating City I guess.

I think Arteta got it all wrong today. That initial starting XI was no bueno. The shape/formation after his subs was lacking as well. Guessing he wanted to give some players rest and looked down on Villa too much.

We need to get rid of Kolasinac and Holding immediately.

Surely some mid table squad will give us $15 million for Holding

Luiz gives away yet another game. 65% possession, 0 shots on goal. Pathetic!

Am I the only one who doesn't get why Joe Willock gets any time. All the other young guys show some moments of brilliance, but Willock seems so average in every regard.

No, I'm right there with you. Haven't been impressed, and it's not because he hasn't been featured enough.

He was better last season. He's still young so he should improve but I agree about him being a bit disappointing this season.

Holding is the definition of average. Average technical ability, average speed, average reading of the game, average heading ability, shitty passing. He has not been good since the Chelsea FA Cup final.

And Arteta doesn't rate him for shite

What this game called out for was a creative midfielder to play between the lines. The spacing between the midfield and strikers too far all game, and there was no one in the center to receive between the lines passes. Laca should have dropped deep to link play, but for some reason didn't.

Maybe our most lethargic showing under Arteta.

What is the opinion on if Arsenal don't win the FA cup and don't qualify for Europa, do you believe Arteta will have full reign for the next season, or potentially be on the hot seat entering the next campaign?

I understand Arsenal don't have a huge war chest going forward, and if they don't qualify for Europa I can't see Auba wanting to stay, and Bellerin has also voiced his displeasure lately. That being said what can Arsenal do to even improve? The Ozil situation is just insane, and they also have complete crap players on such high wages in Luiz and Kolasinac.

Going full Barca or RM on the approach to the manager is probably not the best idea.

He took over in January and then COVID hit in March. Give him some time.

No doubt. Also, Arsenal are so much better when Xhaka, Tierney and Pepe are on the pitch. Putting Eddie out wide made no sense to me.

I get that Ozil has been bad when he plays recently, but like he is on the books, we might as well play him when necessary. I do not understand the approach of ostracizing a guy and just having him sit at home.
